January Jones In Atelier Versace – 2012 Met Gala

January Jones was back to her best on the red carpet at the 2012 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City this evening.

The ‘Mad Men’ actress wore an Atelier Versace Spring 2012 gown.

Her yellow custom strapless gown with structured metallic details and a peplum waist was inspired by the yellow bodysuit presented on the runway.

I love her sleek blonde locks and vintage Cartier yellow gold, diamond, and turquoise necklace, but the gown sells itself so it wasn’t needed.

Gold Versace heels completed her look.

It’s good to see January back in top form.

This is a much better look than what she has been bringing to the table lately. She looks great and I really like January’s version.

I think she’s vying for another superhero movie. In which case… hired!

This gown is gorgeous and although it doesn’t need accessories, the necklace adds a very nice contrasting colour to the look.

An updo an a smokey eye instead of a red lip would have pushed it to perfection, but as a massive January, and Bety Draper, fan, I am so glad that she is finally returning to form. Also, a gold necklace would have made it just a bit mroe polished.
She wasn’t even wearing Black Pumps!!!!!! 🙂

Welcome back to the fashion fold. She kind of reminded me of why Donatella chose her to become the face of Versace accessories, because she has been looking hideous this past few months.

I love the unexpected addition of the necklace. I sort of feel like she added that turquiose to look “fashion forward” even though it didnt SUPER compliment the yellow of her dress, but A for effort

I may be the lone dissenter, but nothing about this worked for me. The color, the fit of the bodice, the design didn’t seem to flatter or stand out.

    Stunning !

She’s my favorite of the night. Love the dress, the colour and the necklace.

I love structured bodices like these and bright yellow so I’m LOVING this. January looks amazing.

Add me to the group of those who fistpumped when she arrived wearing this.
Yellow will never be the best colour for pale-skinned blondes, but I can overcome that because FINALLY she looks great again.

January, just stick to Versace, don’t do anything strange with your hair and pretty face and everything will be fine!

I don’t know what you guys are talking about, for me the necklace is just the perferc touch for the outfit. She’s by far one of the best dressed of the night

I’m not sure about the color of the necklace, but she looks great. Very beautiful dress.

She looks really, really good here. The necklace wasn’t necessary but she’s still one of the better looks tonight.

    This dress saved the night!
FC, don`t you think that it was the worst ever Met Gala?

  24. Riley May 8, 2012 at 03:34 #

I agree. The necklace was totally not needed. Other than that she looks great. I love everything but the necklace. She hasn’t looked this great in a while.

    • Linda May 8, 2012 at 04:05 #

Me too. I can just barely get past the necklace, but not by much. Other than that, gorgeous, and you can see that she’s feeling and working this dress.

  25. Emmeline May 8, 2012 at 03:34 #

I almost cheered out loud when I saw this! It reminds me a bit of her Emmy gown from a few years, but I love this one so much more.

The color looks great on her and the straight hair is so flattering. She was one of my favorite actresses from tonight.

  26. Grace Patricia May 8, 2012 at 03:33 #

Very beautiful, she looks like a superhero.

  27. Christine May 8, 2012 at 03:32 #

Surprisingly, I prefer her version over the model.

She looks fresh and stylish for once.
