Chloe Moretz was spotted outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City yesterday, prior to her guest appearance on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’.
The teen star wore her second fabulous look in a row donning a Christopher Kane Fall 2012 dress, our first look at this collection on the red carpet.
Her navy leopard-print shift dress with leather detailing was teamed with black Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals.
I really admire how she has found that balance between looking sophisticated and grown up without drastically aging herself by looking too mature.
Wavy blonde locks completed her pout-free look.

dont like it at all. why does it seem every teenager girl needs to dress twice their age.
I agree. This look ages her a lot. A 30 year old would look good in this.
I really don’t see how it is not aging her, to me it does. I love the look heat to toe and I’d totally wear it, but I’m 26!
The runway version would have been less aging, but still…the dress isn’t inappropriate, so props to her for that, but it just seems like it would work on someone like Olivia Wilde or even Demi Moore. Not right for such a young girl. Her hair and makeup look good, though!
I agree.
Bdotw in my opinion!
15 years old?
I’m 18 and I would not wear this dress.
i want to see her in runway piece.
I think she looks stunning and classy. I don’t know why everyone is so intent on making her look like a little kid all the time. So she looks a few years older. She was promoting a movie on national TV, not heading to the checkout counter at Jiffy’s Gas and Go.
She also looked great in a Dolce and Gabbana dress later in the evening.
The shoes have me drooling. Even though they are black I know you don’t hate those beauties C
The runway would’ve worked on her.
It’s only black pumps I dislke
I hate the dress, but LOVE her hair. I think the only reason she pulls this off, is because of her gorgeous smile.
You know your January Jones comment FC? How Blake would’ve worked that Mary Katrantzou? While I respectfully disagree on that, I would suggest Blake in this. It’s way too aging for Moretz, but on Blake? With her it’d be perfect.
I noticed the change in her style choices recently. Maybe her stylist gave her a pep talk?
See I think the runway look would have been too heavy and not right for her age…shiny red I don’t think would have worked on her …I love both versions ( and in fact christopher Kane in general) but I think on her the one she chose is way better. The red would have worked on someone blake’ s age…but that’s another story to tell…someone needs to get Blake a stylist who stops putting her in marchesa.
