Jennifer Lopez In Yeojin Bae – ‘American Idol’ Top 5 Live Show

Following the announcement of her tour with Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez was back to work on ‘American Idol’ last night for the Top 5 live performance show.

She looked beautiful wearing a Yeojin Bae Spring 2012 dress.

Her cherry-red figure-hugging silk faille dress with pin-tuck detailing on upper body was styled with signature large hoop earrings, Pomellato jewels and nude Christian Louboutin heels.

Whilst this is a major moment for the young Australian designer, I’m not crazy about the contrast cream mesh halter neckline panel which creates a deep v faux neckline.

Had it been darker to blend to her skin tone, like it does on the model, I think it would’ve been perfect.

The best thing about this picture is that Randy Jackson has finally found a pair of pants that fit him.

agree re: the mesh panel. nude is not always nude… but surely for someone as high-profile as JLo, this is something that can be customised?

    Hi FC,

I’m pretty sure it’s Yeojin Bae not Yeojin Bea :)

Was blown away (literally) and laughed heartily by this statement. Maybe by the end of the season finale, you can do like a Best dressed poll of Jennifer’s AI ensembles (that might be a long list, but you can trim it down .) :)

Just a slight correction, the designer is Yeojin BAE.

I agree about the panel being a caramel to suit her skintone. Other than that, this look is meh. But kudos to her for choosing an unknown designer.

Steven Tyler always does his thang, but Randy Jackson always looks ridiculous.

I don’t mind the mesh panel at all, in fact on tv I thought it was white and I still loved the idea! JLo’s version looks much better than the model’s.

j lo and her style is like a yo-yo. she can have moments of looking quite classy almost elegant, then (and most of the time) looks like she belongs on a street corner. she looks great in this dress.

None of her looks have sat right with me in a LONG time.

I think Jennifers version looks alot better than model. She is just beautiful, no question about it. Anything she wears she wears it well, very well! She is simply classy. That dress really looks nice on her.
