Nerea Garmendia In MaxMara – ‘The Cavernicola’ Madrid Premiere

Nerea Garmendia continued to promote her latest movie, ‘The Cavernicola’, by taking to the red carpet for the premiere in Madrid yesterday.

The beautiful actress wore a MaxMara Spring 2012 dress on this occasion.

This is the first time we are seeing a look from this collection on the red carpet as it was mostly full of daywear, sporty and utilitarian pieces.

Her sand jersey dress with a leather skirt held together with gold accents was teamed with cream Herve Leger ankle boots and a black Roger Vivier clutch.

Once again, I’m not crazy about the footwear.

Whilst I love the style with the sexy frock, the colour doesn’t work for me.

I would’ve been more inclined to love the booties had they been a darker colour.

Yay or Nay on the footwear?

Whilst I am not sold on her accessories, she looks amazing and I want to she more from her!

Nay because ankle boots don’t work with a dress in this length. Also it makes her legs look shorter.

For me it’s YAY I love those boots, they look cool with the dress, I don’t know why you don’t love them, if they were a simple pump what? they are cool are edgier.

    So YAY again for me.

just the colour doesn’t work for me

The picture looks like has a lot of “flash” she looks very light as well, so let’s think that the botts are a tad darker, but I really think they are cool. Ilike the look

I like the ombre look that the shoes give this outfit.

Hate the dress, love the shoes.

The shoes and clutch completely ruin the look.

‘The Cavernicola’? Is this movie about prehistory and cavemen?
That’s what “cavernicola” means in italian (and I guess in spanish, too): cave woman.

‘Coz if the movie’s topic is actually that, I think wearing this particular dress is a bit too “on the nose”/too costumey.

If it’s not, it’s an ok look, but the shoes’ colour doesn’t work for me either.

I love the way she look.

She owns it. She totally look comfortable and chic, and that’s what we are looking for on a red carpet right? The shoes complement the dress so well, I can’t find anything wrong, maybe the hair too simple, but the look is great for me.

The booties are gorge but they are too light.

I LOVE the dress, it is so chic. I would love the shoes if they were a darker color. I wish she had worn her hair in a pony tail or at least behind her shoulders as the cut of the neckline and armholes of this dress are part of what really works about it.

Personally this dress is one of the ugliest I have ever seen…it does not work for me at all. Great shoes but they don’t go with it. The clutch doesn’t go either, and the guy next to her is really rocking a 1966 look. Her hair looks nice but that’s it.

The dress and boots are both subpar. On top of that, she doesn’t have the height or legs to pull them off. She looks like someone who’s just starting out in the show biz and hitting the red carpet in her own clothes purchased from the mall.
