Melissa George joined Solange Knowles, Dakota Fanning, Heidi Klum and Coco Rocha on the red carpet for the 6th Annual DKMS Linked Against Blood Cancer Gala in New York City last night.
The actress wore a Calvin Klein Spring 2012 dress.
This is how to wear a nude dress without looking totally washed out.
Her effortless take on glamour was complete with ‘just-got-out-of-bed’ tresses, hot red lips, a beige clutch and matching platforms from the same collection.
It’s strange how a brand known for minimalism made such clunky shoes for their delicate pieces.

It is great to see MelGo out and about again.
Calvin Klein sure does make some ugly shoes.
Everytime a starlet has worn Calvin Klein shoes on the red carpet it has ruined her look.
Other than the shoes I like this look.
Almost peachy perfect. The dress is beautiful.
Love it! It’s slurty, without being trashy.
Wow she looks so sexy that I feel awkward just looking at this photo! Hot!
It’s a lovely dress – don’t like the shoes either but the dress is pretty special
Love this look! The lipstick is a nice touch.
I like everything but her hair. Not messy in a good way, which is possible.
+1
Even though I’m not crazy about the shoes, I think she looks fantastic.
I actually like this dress better on Melissa than on the model. She brings so much more life to it and the red lips are a perfect touch.
I don’t like the dress, shoes are OK.
I would be more into this look if the length weren’t so awkward. It should definitely been made shorter, between the length and the ankle strap shoes she looks stumpy.
The shoes, though clunky, don’t really bother me. It’s the rest of outfit–the bedhead hair, the lingerie dress, and the peachy color which (imo) does wash her out. It’s too risque and too bland at the same time for me.
+1 and she has gotten too thin, and I don’t mind thin.
I agree that the skirt should’ve been shortened just a bit. As for me, I especially love the shoes, I think they go with her look’s burlesque feel. She does oozes A LOT of sex appeal. Love her bold lips!
