One of my favourite looks of the year so far came courtesy of Ginnifer Goodwin wearing a striking neon pink Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2012 dress.
The actress wore this pink ‘Margot’ lantern sleeve dress to the 2012 People’s Choice Awards back in January.
Her dress was styled with Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry, Jimmy Choo ‘Kyrle’ ankle boots and a black Kzeniya envelope clutch added a slightly tougher edge to her look.
Coleen Rooney was spotted at Aintree yesterday heading to her private box with friends wearing the same dress, which was accented with a black patent leather belt.
The WAG also added a black clutch and towering peep-toe Louboutins to her look.
Ginnifer wins for me.
I love the knee-length version of her dress. Her look was so stylish and effortless.
I also prefer her sleek marcel waves to Coleen’s backcombed bouffant.

Coleen-so wrong on so many levels: the length, the belt, the shoes, the boobs…….She looks like she is on the way to a Tranvestite convention.

The dress is worn on two very different occasions. Coleen knew she’d be papped, but she wasn’t on the red carpet, which explains Jennifer’s precise polish. Even if on the red carpet, Coleen would wear those tacky clunky Louboutins, so Jennifer wins for me.
Is Coleen serious with those shoes? Just because they are Louboutins, it doesn’t mean they are cute.
Ginnifer looks great! Also Lady Gaga wore this dress a while back for a Tv performance
Though I like the addition of the black belt, Ginnifer wins in every other respect.
Much prefer the simplistic approach on Ginnifer.
To me this looks like one if those “do” & “don’t” segments. Ginniferhands down is the “do”!!!
This is the perfect example of how the same dress can look polished and chic or tacky and cheap, depending on the fit, the length, the accessories and the hair and makeup.
