After weeks wearing princess-like ballgowns promoting her new movie ‘Mirror Mirror, Lily Collins took a more masculine approach to the red carpet yesterday evening.
Whilst attending the Cartier Juste un Clou after-party at Skylight Studios in New York City, the actress donned a black Dolce & Gabbana blazer with Paule Ka pants.
An ivory ruffled bib blouse added an extra chic element to her look, whilst a red clutch and a complementary lip colour provided the finishing touches.
A perfect palette cleanser, don’t you think?

This is really lovely, one of my favourite looks of hers for sure but the lip colour just seems a bit off here, though that’s a relatively minor complaint all things considered.

I’m not normally a fan of androgynous looks but I actually quite like this. I agree that something is missing though. Perhaps theres too much dark colour?

I love this look on her – I actually like the makeup. Although you can see there is quite a lot compared to what we’ve seen from her, it’s still very flawless and a mature look, she definitely rocks this well!

Love everything but the somewhat baggy pant leg fabric. That line should be crisp from waist to ankle, imo. Good look for her, agree, nice change-up.
Agreed! I love this look – it would have been perfection if it was tailored. The pants should be crisp and cut close to the body with that length of blazer. The high waist does however save it from throwing her proportions out completely. I would have liked to have seen the sleeves a bit shorter too.

I love this ghostly Victorian look, but am frustrated I can’t point a finger on her style. What is it? Taylor Swift’s is boring girly, Tilda Swinton 95% androgynous (she does wear heels and colored lipstick), Angelina Jolie boring chic…so what is Lily’s? She seems to be bouncing all over the place.

I’m captivated by this look, and I think the makeup is perfect for the whole vibe of it.
I hate this look on her…. the Victorian blouse buttoned up to her neck is overkill, a simple tank would have looked much better. With her pale skin, black ensemble and dark lips she looks like she is attending an Addams Family reunion.
