Kate Bosworth was spotted leaving the Byron & Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills, California earlier this week, sporting a simple laid-back look.
A grey sweater was teamed with a mint pleated skirt, which looks very much like the one I recently brought from Zara.
She accessorized with a chain-accented shoulder bag, sunglasses, two pendant necklaces and a multi-colour bracelet.
My favourite part of her look is her Isabel Marant wedge sneakers which I first spotted at the KCD press preview four months ago.
My sister and I have been looking everywhere for these wedges, but they seem to sell out the second they hit the shop floor or virtual shelves.
The good news is that the brand will be restocking them for Fall in different colourways.
Do you love these wedges as much as I do?
Here are some alternatives.
Ash ‘Bowie’ tri-colour wedge sneakers from Shopbop.com £153.12 / $235
Topshop aerobic sport wedge sneakers from Topshop International £48 / Topshop US $96
Marc by Marc Jacobs ‘Kisha’ leather wedge sneakers from Net-A-Porter.com £325 / $320 and
See by Chloé lace-Up wedge sneakers from Shopbop.com $375 / my-wardrobe.com £262.

sorry, i wish i liked these but i hate all the designs ): (i do hate the chloe ones a little less than the others, though)
I love the ones by Chloe.
I agree, the ones by Chloe caught my eye. I would definitely wear those!
Oh boy…. I don’t get these at all.
To me they’re just play ugly. I mean.. really really ugly!
+1 I can’t stand them.
Ew, ew, ew.
And by play, I mean plain, of course.
I really want to like them, but I don’t
I don’t mind the See by Chloe’s.
Although I think overall each pair is ugly and I feel like we just did this trend in 2003?
I’ll pass.
those isabel marant ones are UGLY as sin. the see by chloe pair are rather nice but they rest look nasty.
They look too much like teenage boys shoes. Maybe with some skinny jeans or something sportier, but I really don’t like them with her floaty skirt, she looks like she has casts on her feet. Too heavy looking.
I’ve seen this style of shoe, a couple of years ago, without as much pomp and decoration as these designers have made them but they aren’t any better in the slightest.
No from me.
I looks like they’ve tried to invent a comfortable high-heel shoe but couldn’t come up with a better idea and just took a sneaker and made it with a wedge.
I just don’t get it.
Not even mixing my favourite style of sneakers with wedges could make me warm up to the idea of wedges.
Seriously, wedges just need to die.
I think the Isabel shoes are atrocious. I think they are ugly and hardy to work with and bring down any look. The only stylish ones are the See by Chloe. The others just look like sneakers.
Hell no… can I say that on here? WTF. OMG. NOoooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! Some of those styles are wearable but with a delicate skirt? Nope and nope. Plus the beige suede Bosworth’s just look dirty
those wedges are so ugly.. are those velcro straps across the front? yikes.
Sweetheart, no, I don’t. This is one of those things people will look back and regret they ever wore with all their soul.
Yes!
I’m not sure about this type of shoes. I usually don’t like wedges but Ash’s “Bpwie” are quite nice, I’m thinking about buying them.
Love the wedges, but not with the sheer maxi skirt – ewww!
i bet you kate will be wearing this at Coachella this weekend. she wore another pair of IM wedged sneakers last year with the flag t-shirt.
I really like the skirt, and the sweater and shoes are okay, but I really dislike all three together. It looks like laundry day when nothing else is available to wear.
No I don’t. No matter how often I read (on blogs or in magazines) that they are so stylish and everyone should implicitly buy them, it doesn’t help: I think they are ugly and needless.
I swear i had a pair of shoes like this about 15 years ago – they were part of my ‘Sporty Spice’ look i was going for then. So no, i think these are U-G-L-Y.
I see some people criticize on Kate’s look with IM sneakers, I just can’t figure why. I think the outfit is very cute.
