Kate Bosworth graces the May 2012 issue for Company UK, which is looking a lot like NYLON magazine these days.
Shot by David Mushegain, Kate sports dip-dye hair in a bold aqua colour.
Back in August we spotted the actress leaving a Coldplay concert in LA with same dip-dye hair colour and a Missoni shirt which also makes an appearance in her editorial.
The actress is currently promoting her new movie ‘L!fe Happens’ and working closely with her stylist on JewelMint plus she’s no doubt getting ready for Coachella this weekend.
She talks to the mag about all things fashion including her style crush and what she’s loving right now.
Here are some extracts from her interview:
On her style since coming from her dad: “He’s a former executive at Ermenegildo Zegna. I remember him telling me when I was at school that classic style won’t ever go out of fashion. At the time I thought, ‘You don’t know anything!’ But he was very right – and I still appreciate his advice now.”
On Los Angeles style: “There’s sort of a casual feel out here on the West Coast, so I’m lucky to have the luxury of not having to wear a million layers of clothing. I can just pull on a pair of shorts and a tee and I’m done.”
On her style secret being comfort: “I look at someone like Dita von Teese and I’m like, ‘WOW!’ That whole kind of commitment level to fashion, I just can’t do it. When I get dressed, it’s always more relaxed.”
On her style crush: “I’ve known Sienna [Miller] for years; she’s a good friend and a regular shopping partner. I loved the stuff her and Savannah did with Twenty8Twelve. I’ve been really grateful to her for wearing my JewelMint collection too.”
On what she’s loving right now: “The Proenza Schouler collection. I’m always impressed by how they push themselves as a label. I’ve known them for such a long time and remember when their first collection was all black because they couldn’t afford anything else – now it really zings.”

She’s beautiful, but the horrible hair and the nerdy grunge look makes for one of the worst editorials I’ve seen in a while.

+1 I mean, why??
I really love this dip-dye trend along with the bold haircolor trend. as for Bosworth, unforunately, she looks so unhealthily skinny that I can’t get past that to judge her looks on any other level. p.s. am stunned to find out she is actually at home in the fashion industry.
Not to mention her terrible grammar.
Personally, I have never dyed my hair but I am all for colour but in a nice, subtle way! IMO, this hair just ruins an otherwise nice look.
I am really not liking the art direction Company magazine has taken. As an international reader, I’m a bit worried
I don’t like it either…they are trying to make it look like NYLON, but they failed
I can’t even start looking at her cos the whole cover is so confusing. The little bit where the barcode overlaps her arm is irritating me. Hmmm
This hair is so horible! Dipped dyed ends only work on teens and a select few adults ( nicki minaj and katy perry), but definitely not kate bosworth. Oh, I amlmost forgot the editorial is horrible as well
I think dip dyed ends would work in a more sophisticated manner if the look was more polished. They made it look like her hair wasn’t washed and her roots needed colouring in. Not a good idea. I’d like to see a straight edged hair cut that was dip dyed. Don’t think I’ve come across that yet.
