Victoria Beckham is unrecognisable on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar China for their May 2012 issue.
Sporting fire engine red hair, feathered eye shadow and heavy-looking earrings the designer showcases an avant garde look which we’ve never seen from her before.
The red hair really works for her in this editorial and the makeup is artistry at its finest.
It rare to see VB opt for a look so bold, even in an editorial, so it’s great to see her working this striking look.
Which Harper’s Bazaar cover do you prefer?
Victoria’s Harper’s Bazaar UK cover or this cover?
Check out the additional three pictures shot by Chen Men of Victoria wearing a dress from her Spring 2012 collection, a black studded Versace Spring 2012 dress and a sexy bodysuit.

FABULOUS!!!!!!!
abs stunning, and I recognised her straigh away.even if photoshoped it’s still fantastic IMO.
that cover is terrible, it doesnt even look like her. the other 2 pictures though are beautiful. would love to see her with red hair, but not that hideous fire engine red.
She betta WORK!
The second dress is glorious! I love the combo of the colors. Very eye catching.
FC–do you think the hair color was done with photoshop? I really wonder how much of this is from the actual shoot and what was added later.
I’m not sure what techniques they use these days.
It’s very possible.
All this is is photoshop. She looks malnourished and skeletal as usual.
That malnourishment part actually isn’t photoshop :>
lol!
I love the third cover the best!
They are all great covers, but that first one, is truly EPIC, she looks amazing! Love how she tries different things, its the opposite of her sweet UK cover!
Very Final Fantasy which I’m sure was the idea. I prefer the other two photos though.
I love the last photo so much. Is she… smiling?!?! Shocker.
Wow stunning! I love that makeup!
I do not like the cover itself (too weird and videogame) but the other two are quite exotic and impressive!
Missed the last photo…don’t like that one at all. I think my favorite is the VB dress.
too thin..
The cover is too photoshoped! What have they done to her nose?!
Love the huge change of style and my favourite is the third photo.
I don’t like the cover or the dragon hair piece. It’s a rather literal, unimaginative and overkill interpretation of “China.” It’s like walking around Paris with an Urban Outfitters t-shirt that has a giant “Oui” printed on it. Maybe the stylist is a westerner who hasn’t quite seen the world. The red hair would be a sufficiantly clever and subtle message of “China,” as compared to a short black wig with big bangs, for example. I like the three pictures inside, sans the tacky hair accessories.
something about the cover is off.. but the other photos are great!
I don’t like this. At all.
I love the different stlye/vibe of this look for her, it is nice to see her in the different style. The photoshop is quite obvious but I like the bottom two photos. Love the makeup
Oh my God. This is the best I have ever seen from her. She just keeps getting better and better.
To be honesty I always thought she was beautiful, but not much of a model. Here she is fiercer than any top model!
Bold and major!!! Shes rocking it!!
Love love love! Love the red hair. I love how artistic these photos are. I love the makeup. I so love VB!
This woman is as delusional about her ” beauty ” as Samantha Brick. Cover girl ? I don’t think so.
This woman is as delusional about her looks as Samantha Brick.
I can’t get over how great this cover looks. The makeup and art direction is just perfect. Not to keen on having the copy over a messy background though (top part of headpiece).
It’s so great to see my beloved VB on another cover!
eeek so thin! put some meat on those bones vb!
I LOVE that photoshoot, love it so much I can’t describe. It’s been a long time since I’ve been wowed by a magazine and this one does it for me. I don’t know if it’s because it’s unexpected from VB or something else. Anyway great accessories, great makeup. She looks like a manga cartoon in the cover
