On Saturday, Abbey Clancey was spotted leaving the Grosvenor House Hotel in Dubai to attend a reception for the Dubai World Cup.
The WAG was looking very orange, in reference to her dress, wearing a Victoria Beckham Spring 2012 frock.
I had hoped to see VB wearing this dress, but sadly I think all chances died when Abbey was photographed wearing it.
Abbey’s halter dress with sporty grey straps was teamed with gold embellished strappy sandals.
Whilst I’m sad she got there first, I have to admit she does look damn good in this dress, but her gold studded Alaia shoes don’t quite work for me.
Grey or silver would’ve been preferable.

This dress looks too big on her. I’m not saying it needs to be skin tight but the length is too awkward for it to be so baggy.
The shoes are a tragedy.

I was hoping Cameron Diaz would wear this dress but trashy Clancy did first. I like the fit better on the model.

But you know Victoria can´t complain because her collection is successful. Let´s see if she will at least aknowledge it´s sighting as she always does everytime famous people wear her design.

She looks really good, but I agree, a silver or grey shoe would be better.
Yeah why would you go for ethnicy/ boho shoes with this dress, Louboutain pigalle pointed stillettos would look better IMO!

The shoes are horrible! Completely ruins the dress.
I think it looks quite nice on her–I have no idea who she is. Nice to see a fit that is less than skin tight, and the shoes are a major improvement over the run way shoes in my opinion. I find the dress rather casual (casual for VB) given the straps and so the shoes work for me.

it seems all the brits are being influenced by their personal preferences, or rather, dislikes, on this one. The shoes aren’t perfect but they are a gazillion times better than those horrors leann rimes had on with her stella 2012
From a length standpoint, VB’s dresses are designed as much for leggy ladies as Balmain’s minis. It takes a pair of nice legs to pull off Balmain’s high-thigh short dresses and VB’s (almost) mid-calf long ones. This WAG pulled off the dress well. She’s a nice-looking WAG. Some WAGs make me go “Really? Her man doesn’t seem very superficial but maybe has mommy issues.”
Yeah, as WAGs go, she’s a pretty good one I think. I liked that she didn’t sell her wedding pics, that raised her in my estimation.
Gosh I would have loved to see Victoria in this dress. Well I guess this WAG could do no better than to step out in one of VB’s creations. This dress is fierce, and she looks beautiful. Maybe V can wear it in another color? But the orange is so great.
