Ashlee Simpson also attended the opening of the Marquee nightclub in Sydney, Australia, on Friday.
The actress wore a Roberto Cavalli olive python-print dress.
Her halter dress was teamed with a jaguar-print Roberto Cavalli clutch and a selection of cocktail rings.
Whilst I like this dress, I picture someone with an edge like Coco Rocha or Naomi Campbell wearing this gown.
Ashlee gets lost in this dress for me and doesn’t really have much presence to pull it off.
She’s missing the ‘fierce’ factor.

I think she looks great, love her hair. She pulled this off for me. I think certain people no matter what they wear will always get a bad rap and Ashlee Simpson is one of those people.
I completely agree.

Ditto.
While nice, there is something missing. Maybe a different color would have worked. Brought out a zippier, more springy feel, rather than this heavier, sexier one.
Nice effort but she’s not werking this.
This dress looks like burned curtains to me…very ugly imo and she’s not working it.
Th is dress reminds me of mold. Not good
agree on the fierce factor. Naomi would’ve roced the hell outta this dress. or Tilda Swinton. or Jolie.
she looks like a tree trunk
I agree FC- Naomi Campbell in this gown would make me swoon, though I do love Ashlee’s leopard clutch (if only it were smaller) with the dress. I wonder what shoes she wore with the dress.
It needs a dark beauty to pull it of. Ashley´s make up is too sweet for it + her blond hair in contrast to the dark print washes her out. I instantly thougt of Sonam´s look at Cavally´s show. Now, that was fierce.
