Keke Palmer joined in the fun on the orange carpet at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in LA on Saturday afternoon.
She opted to wear a Marco Marco purple strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and a detailed skirt.
Keke accessorized with a striped Judith Leiber clutch, gold Neil Lane jewels and black Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps.
A side-swept braided ponytail and a pretty pink lip colour completed her look.
Normally at this point I would be complaining about her shoe choice, but my real problem with this look is the dress.
It looks really cheap and the detailing around the bust is highly unflattering. I am astounded that this dress was custom-made for her.
Keke can do so much better than this.

Exactly FC! Some people really have a lot of nerves! This site is amazing because you show that fashion is not about one type of beauty. Fashion comes in all shapes and colours on some sites, we don’t see enough people of different cultural backgrounds IMO. Keep doing your good work, don’t listen to “haters” lol!

Maybe what I said came out harsh, but I mean, I don’t think Keke Palmer has some “style” or that she at least dresses OK… It has nothing to do with her being an afroamerican lady, I mean, I love Solange’s style, MObama, Rihanna, and lots of other dark skinned ladies… and what’s up with Paris Hilton? she’s not the american sweetheart, but girl has some worthy looks…\That’s all i’m saying. I love this site to eath.
Her hair and makeup look so pretty, it’s a pitty she decided to wear a cheap prom dress.
This is one of the most unflattering and chep dresses I’ve seen in a while. I really wonder why she decided to wear it.

Keke looks cute as a button, and I believe the dress fits her reasonable well. Hair and makeup is flawless too. However, when you take a closer look, the fabric looks quite like tissue paper, or something you can pick up at TJ Maxx to wear for a Bar Mitzvah. Cute, but not runway-ready.
That dress is doing all sorts of damage to her breasts. I think they could press charges.

I was when you say that this is a custom made dress. They look so cheap.
But, that colorful clutch is the only one who caught my eyes.
