Ariel Winter In Cynthia Rowley – 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

The 2012 Nickelodeon Annual Kids’ Choice Awards took place at the Galen Center in LA yesterday afternoon.

Ariel Winter was one of the many stars to take to the orange carpet.

The ‘Modern Family’ actress wore a Cynthia Rowley Spring 2012 dress.

Her white lattice dress with a fluted skirt was teamed with black suede Aldo wedges which are more than a tad disappointing.

You may remember that Emmy Rossum wore this same dress back in January, but she opted for electric-blue pumps.

With Ariel’s brunette locks swept to one side in a simple side-parted ponytail, she completed her look with glossy pink lips.

Are you disappointed by her shoe choice?

Or do you think that she’s so darn cute that the shoes don’t matter?

    It matters.

Those shoes! Grandma shoes:( my disappointment is because we all know the access that celebrities have BEST OF THE BEST and they are choosing awaful shoes. Don’t undertand why!

I think that she looks damn cute but the heavy black shoes are a damn shame.

  5. Jerusa April 1, 2012 at 13:41 #

    Ops! Understand*

The shoes run the look. Not only because they are black but also because they are so heavy looking.

  7. Emmeline April 1, 2012 at 14:30 #

Shame about the shoes, because everything from the ankles up is perfect.

I wish she’d opted for a pair of nude Christian Louboutin Lady Dafs.

I actually love how age appropriate she is (take notes, Wiillow Smith) yes, the black wedges are a bit of a letdown, but she isn’t very experienced with fashion yet, she will learn. But she is a total cutie and the dress fits her beautifully!! Still think Willow was the worst dressed at the event.

She looks absolutely adorable! I don’t mind the shoes- I think the colour and weight is mostly balance by her dark, bouffant styled hair

Everything from the knee upward is perfect. The shoes are just too heavy

I’m just gobsmacked coz this is the first time I’ve seen her off the screen! Didn’t recognize her at all! She looks fabulous .

  13. Rebecca Z April 1, 2012 at 19:23 #

She looks adorable though the shoes do weigh her down.

  14. Lori April 1, 2012 at 21:46 #

Horrific shoes. I can’t get past them.

  15. Aline April 1, 2012 at 22:12 #

She looks so cute!!! I adore it. I’m in love with this dress and her hair looks great. Yeah, she could have chosen better shoes, but it doesn’t ruin the look for me.

Whilst Ariel Winter always looks age-appropriate and adorable, Emmy Rossum will win the who-wore-it better feature. Those black pumps…

I don’t mind black and white together (maybe it’s psychological– I’m reminded by Lucy Liu’s fantastic Kung Fu Panda tour)so this look doesn’t bother me. I love that they’re flats and not 5-inch heels *coughChloeMoretzcough* and her hair is to die for.

I think the shoes would have worked if she had added a black belt to balance them. Other than that, I only wish it was a little longer…then it would be super cute.

  19. MaryJane April 2, 2012 at 14:58 #

She does look very cute but it’s nothing compared to how gorgeous Emmy Rossum looked in the same dress. I think her makeup is a little too bland… she definetely misses a pop of colour!
