Carol Vorderman looked sensational when she attended the TRIC Awards 2012 in London recently.
The TV presenter, who continues to defy her 51 years, wore an Alessandra Rich Spring 2012 dress.
Her slinky Chantilly lace red long-sleeve column dress was teamed with the same black belt worn by the model, nude patent Louboutins and a gold cuff.
It’s shocking that people still mock her for wearing fashionable clothes, like there is an age limit.
Stunning as always.

i dont think people mock her for being fashionable, it mostly seems to be the fact she wears things that are about 2 sizes too small.
this dress looks nice on her, but the length bugs me.
I don’t know who she is, but I love seeing a 51yo with curves.. and not afraid to show them. She looks so much better than the waif next to her!
Realize the black belt is part of the dress, but not sure I like it.
Great dress and you are so right about fashion and age. But, I must object to her shoe choice–they almost kill the dress off.
BTW, FC, there is a very interesting art installation in Washington DC that features music and film projected on the exterior of the Hirshorn Museum–a donut shaped building with a smooth stone exterior. Tilda Swinton appears in the film and on the soundtrack singing (as all the participants do) “I Only Have Eyes For You”. The installation is called SONG 1 and is by Doug Aitkin. I experienced it earlier this week and have a photo of Ms. Swinton’s appearance in the film.

No make up and wearing a robe kind of like a bathrobe. I am not her biggest fan, so I might not be the best judge :>
The dress is too tight, the length is awkward, not a fan of the belt (a daintier belt would’ve worked better for her) or the cuff on top of the long sleeve, and the nude pumps pretty much ruin it. Don’t care how old she is, and yes she’s got a great curvy body but the look isn’t really working.
it’s her bootie that makes the dress a tad snug around her hips.

The protruding bust in front and enormous bootie in the back – a bit too much, maybe such a form-fitting dress isn’t the best choice for her afterall. A slightly looser body-skimming fit that would emphasize her curves in a more subtle way would’ve suited her better me thinks.

I agree. Especially that side shot shows how tight it was…not loving it at all.
She’s beautiful and her curves are fabulous. However, her accessories are letting her down, and her hair seems to be in an awkward “growing out” length. She’d look great with it super short.
The material looks cheap, it doesn’t photograph well, and it looks too small for her size. Also, no more ~nude~ heels; it’s been done to death.
The length is a bit awkward but she does look beautiful.
The Cuff and long sleeves are the wrong combination.
But, when you get 51, you always wants to be like her.

I don’t like the dress on either woman. I don’t know who Carol Vorderman is, but she is beautiful whatever her age. I think she could wear this style if it were longer and in a darker color.
