I’m going to really surprise you all by saying that Emma Roberts was my favourite on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere of Jules Massenet’s ‘Manon’ in New York City last night.
She opted for a black YSL strapless jumpsuit with a sweetheart neckline, which was accessorised with a metallic red flower belt and black YSL clutch.
The back wasn’t better than her front and no chokers were involved in this look, thankfully.
She looked the most relaxed and effortless, whilst still maintaining that fresh, youthful sparkle.
Black satin YSL platform pumps and a side-parted hairdo completed her look.

She was also my favourite.
I completely agree. I saw this picture, and the first thing which struck me was- “Now why didn’t Chloe Moretz wear this!” Seriously, this is how you do effortless glamour…FOR YOUR AGE.
+1 – Chic!
Gorgeous
I really don’t know why people here dislike Emma’s style. Seriously for me she’s always been one of the best and age-appropriate dressed young actresses.
Love the jumpsuit and the clutch!
I agree with you, totally, she dresses well and she always looks her age. I love the belt.
i agree with u. i always like how she dresses.
It’s cute, i’d only wish for better earrings and maybe a long, sleek ponytail
I like this. I usually think her hair is a wreck which destroys her look. Her hair finally looks done! Ends trimmed and her hair has some sheen.
Love the flower red metal belt. Wished she also opt for red lippie.
could i say she is too short to wear this?
Hate it. I really, really dislike jumpsuits, so this look doesn’t work for me.
No thanks.
I adore this look too – Fun, young and glam.
i think she looks great but there has to be a rule against jumpsuits at the metropolitan opera!
The flower belt looks nothing like a flower in the first pic. Maybe it’s just the angle? I don’t know, but it’s really distracting at the moment, and not in a good way.
De ja vu ain’t it ?
Ew
A grown up look for her. She wears it well. She looks casually chic. If I didn’t know better, I’d think she were French.
