Dakota Fanning stepped out at the 2012 GLAAD Media Awards, which were held on Saturday night in New York City.
The young star wore a vintage Halston cream wrap v-neck halter dress with gold beaded embroidery.
Dakota teamed her stylish dress with Fred Leighton jewels, a Ferragamo gold box clutch and Manolo Blahnik metallic-gold criss-cross sandals.
Her signature simple, straight hairstyle and natural looking makeup completed the look.
Whilst her dress was refreshing and mature, the hair and makeup are all too familiar.
I would love her to shake things up just once.

When will she willchange her hair?! I hope she added some layers or, even better, dyed it. Elle (her sister) recently turned red-haid for a role, it really make her eyes pop out!

I love this outfit, actually, from head (well, her hairstyle is always the same, I know) to toe. The dress is beautiful and she chose the right accessories.

I really like this look. I’m even ok with the hair, the only thing here I’m not keen about it’s her make-up (too much blusher, see the contrast between her face and her neck).
I really like this look, the embroidery is pretty and I like the hem with the complimentary accessories. I think on this occasion the simple hair and make-up keep it sweet suiting her for her age and personality and style.
