Rachel Weisz attended the premiere of ‘The Deep Blue Sea’, held at the BAM Rose Cinemas in Brooklyn, NY, on Thursday evening.
The stunning actress wore a beautiful Jason Wu Fall 2012 dress.
Her cap-sleeved frock featured a red floral print, which gathered at the waist, was simply accessorized with a black clutch and black peep-toes.
Following Evan Rachel Wood, Rachel is the second lucky celeb to wear Jason Wu’s luxurious Fall 2012 collection.

The draping is slightly awkward, goes up a bit too high (not the best leg positioning either) but I like the print and the simple styling that allows the dress and her natural beauty speak for themselves.
I pretty much agree with Nat39! I wish that the skirt were an even length, as it gets quite short there, but aside from that this is a lovely dress…the luxurious print and her sleek execution are quite chic.
I am borderline obsessed with any and all Jason Wu collections, but this dress is doing Ms. Weiz no justice. She has a fabulous figure and the tiniest waist yet this dress makes her look older and oddly shaped. I think it’s the bunching around the waist. I’m not a huge fan of this print either and the boring, predictable black shoes and usual hairstyle. But kudos to sticking with Mr. Wu- she is a loyal client.
This awkward leg thing has got to stop. She looks so plain to me here. And has been for a while, just like another foreign actress doing a few indie flicks that may or may not make it to American theaters. She was much more exciting as a transplant here doing bigger budget movies with an all-star cast where she may have to acquire an accent but then she returns to her native accent, full of wit, while on the late-night talk show circuit.
I wish the dress was a bit longer for a start so the highest part of the skirt would hit at a more flattering point on her leg. Also wished she picked out the red for her shoes and accessories plus redder glossy lips. She probaby looks fine in real life but the photos must drain out some of the colour. I still remember her in an emerald green gown some years ago where she dazzled – only a very few others could match that!
