Zoe Saldana looked beautiful as always at the inaugural 25 Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo at Soho House in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon.
The actress wore an Alexis Mabille Spring 2012 Couture dress.
Sans floral headwear, she accessorized her coral crochet dress with a pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Eros’ heels and a Jimmy Choo snakeskin ‘Jasmin’ lutch.
On this rare occasion I don’t like her accessories as neither complements her dress.
The print from her clutch competes with her dress and I really dislike the bronze heels with the coral dress.
I think she could’ve found much better pieces from Jimmy Choo to work with this look.

The heels look like it matches the dress.
I like the clutch but not with the dress.

I like the heels, but the pink part of the dress and the clutch are the reason why i’m not loving it.
The bag doesn’t go with her outfit.

The entire look is a miss for me.
If anything, the dress looks better on Zoe than on the model.
I think Zoe looks great here and I like the bag, a quirky addition but not entirely unreasonable as I find the pattern on it echoes the shapes in her crochet dress. The shoes do relate to the belt as Jacqu pointed out – overall it’s a win for me.

I love the dress but you’re right, nether the dress or the shoes match with it.
Maybe the accessories are a let down (especially the shoes) but still this is a very good look for Zoe
I life the accessories. For me the shoe is genius.
I don’t like the shoes either. The color is fine, but her skinny legs don’t go well with platform pumps. Leave those pumps to those whose legs are less perfect.
The belt and the shoes are a good match. I don’t like the clutch but the dress is SO Zoe that I love the look.

I’m not loving any of it. I think it’s the cream lining under the dress, it it makes it look to pink-ish. But what I really want to know is, why didn’t she copy the runway look exactly, right down to the face paint and gigantic flower? That would have been epic… Note the sarcasm… Hehe
The dress is great. A more delicate shoe and accessories would have been amazing.
