As Viola Davis is the unofficial brand ambassador for Raoul, she was the first to wear this ‘Penelope’ gown to the 3rd annual Governors Awards dinner in LA back in November.
The Oscar nominee teamed her maxi dress with a gold neckline with a simple cuff and a gold Jimmy Choo clutch.
At Elton John’s annual AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party last month, Kourtney Kardashian showed off her burgeoning baby bump in the same gown with gold-and-diamond Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
I’m not a fan of Kourtney’s yellow gold jewels, so Viola wins for me.

On Viola it looks like a gown, on Kourtney it looks like a nightrobe.

This Raoul dress reminds me a little bit of Michael Kors Dress, worn by Natalie Portman couple years ago.
I think that the dress sits better on Kourtney, but Viola’s skin-tone takes this to a whole new level.
