Marisa Tomei joined Emma Roberts at Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood yesterday, to celebrate the opening cocktail party hosted by the British Fashion Council for the London Show Rooms.
The actress wore a Peter Pilotto Spring 2012 ¾-sleeve dress.
Her ocean-inspired printed crepe dress with crystal-embellished details and a scuba-style zipper was teamed with simple nude pumps.
Rightly so, because this amazing dress should be the focus.
With her hair nonchalantly thrown over one shoulder, Marisa completed her look with neutral makeup and glossy pink lips.

She looks great.
This look is cute and relaxed on her, the shoes are not so attractive but nonoffensive
Yeah, I guess that’s true. I was going to say they were ugly, but they’re not that bad. I agree with your sentiment.
I agree. I would have preferred the runway shoes. They were GORGEOUS.
Perfect fit and I love the dress too…
I love the vibe of this look.
Cute look, but I think she should have chosen diff shoes. I think even black pumps would have worked.
Very nice, works from head to toe – the figure-flattering vibrant dress, the natural hair and makeup, and the nude pumps are a very good choice in this case – all the elements work beautifully. Lovely and effortless, well done.
+1, you said it all!
+1, agree completely.
Wow. I loved the dress on the runway but Marisa’s curves really make it come alive.
Adore the dress and it looks flattering and effortless on Marisa. BDOTW worthy in my book.
I think Navy or black shoes would have looked better, a pair of black suede pointy stillettos in a matte black would have looked gorgeous, the nude colour looks wrong with the dress…
Mmmmm, i don’t know. I really like the dress and i think it fits well but I’m not sure her hair and makeup add anything.
I’m really amazed by the actual design/fabric print of the dress. All the different prints work together to make such a nice design. I thought for a moment the print was painted on, but after looking at close-ups, they’re not. Wonderful design.
Wow. I may be off base, but I don’t think her curves make this come alive. It actually makes her look unrealistically wide. Or maybe it’s the pose. Either way, it’s a no for me.
She feels too old for this modern dress.
Marisa gets better with age. Beautiful! She’s also with a younger man. What a difference from Demi. I guess you’ve got to have a brain to age like fine wine.
That stupid, stringy piece of hair in her face! I’m allowed to have greasy hair, but I don’t think she is!
Maybe navy pumps? Overall I love this look, the hair and the make up.
The dress is incredible and the fit is superb. Really-really like this.
stunning dress!
I love that look. Fresh and beauty
This is a great look for her! For me, she should be a BDOTW contender!
I really want to like this look, but I can’t. This fit is not very flattering. She is taking the entire fish/mermaid vibe a little too far and not in a good way.
I do not like the dress, so the appeal of the look is lost on me.
