Jennifer Lawrence stunned on the red carpet at ‘The Hunger Games’ LA premiere last night; there was no danger of Miley Cyrus upstaging her on her big night.
The blonde beauty picked up where she left off on the red carpet, dazzling us wearing a Prabal Gurung Fall 2012 gown.
Her gold lame gown with cut-out details and an open back has black tulle inserts on the shoulders and nude inserts around the waist.
Via the thigh-high split we can see she wore black Jimmy Choo ‘Bunting’ sandals.
Learning from Angelina Jolie’s Oscar mistake, the young actress doesn’t force the issue with the split. In fact, in most photos from this event you hardly see that the gown has a split.
Jennifer’s hair was teased up into a chic loose bun with tendrils framing her face, which was made up with kohl-rimmed sultry eyes and shimmering pink lips.
Finally a look worthy of the BDOTW list.

I love it when an understated beauty don a dangerously sexy gown.
For some reason…I am just not feeling this look…Her hair looks too messy and the model is working the gown better than Jennifer…A bit more attitude and a sleek do would have made this a fantastic look…

Also, the skirt of this gown on Jennifer is a bit too busy. And, missed the belt.

yes, yes, yes. Too gold, too much skirt, too much effort in the look. This is a girl who gets worn by the clothes instead of the other way around.
Now this is how a young movie star should dress for her big premiere.
She totally gets the meaning of the “go big or go home” motto.
I love that the look is bold, eye-catching, original (not many celebs would dare to wear such a shiny gold gown), but not “trying-too-hard”.
Also, is her hair a little blonder? Nice.

I still can’t get on board with back cut-outs that go up to the front.
Outside of that, I adore the look.
Gaber, I’m usually with you on being over the cut-outs ’cause so many seem not to serve a real purpose but I think they really work here. Without the cutouts, it would have been too much gold and it may have looked too stiff or like she was wearing mylar.
I’m dying, genuinely dying. This is, after Tilda, most likely my favourite look of the yer so far. I have loved her since the get go, and this is a complete change for her, as she was always mroe demure.
The dress should be hideously tacky, but she wears it so well, and she has such an incredible body Idon’t think anyoen else could wear it as well as she. The choos are divine and so perfect, her hair and makeup are also so perfect and in keeping with the look.
The nails just put the icing of the cake. Also, I’m so glad that she doesn’t appear to be wearing a clutch, because on this occasion, it works better without.
A completely powerful look, I am so so excited for what she’ll wear next.

I love this look on her. It’s perfect and as much dress as this is she is wearing it and not the other way around. The gold of the dress is perfect with her skin tone. She glows.

I dislike the hair a lot. I think a chic bun or hugh ponytail would have worked better. It is my only complaint, because I adore the fact that she went big for her premiere.
