Emma Roberts, who is known to wear many British labels, was at Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood yesterday, for the LONDON Show ROOMS’ opening cocktail party which was held in association with the British Fashion Council.
The young actress wore a Jonathan Saunders Spring 2012 white embroidered top with an open back, with black Jonathan Saunders oversized flared pants from the Resort 2012collection.
Her simple look was teamed with a black satin clutch.
Do you like this look as it is, or would you have loved a pop of colour?

Yes! This needed a pop of colour. She looks like an old lady.
The look is drab all the way down to the hair, makeup and pose.
to matronly. her hair doesnt look polished
Everything looks a size too big and sort of matronly.
Yes, it does, and she looks tired and bored.
Completely boring
blah.
I like the blouse, but I don’t think pairing it to such a boring skirt was a wise decision. Plus, Emma looks sad here, so I guess she wasn’t that happy about the outfit either
It reminds of this so much http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2011/11/15/emma-roberts-in-temperley-london-true-british-book-launch/#comments , so I don’t really like it. Something different and colourful would be good.
yes, very similar style
yes, similar! but I like how she wore the temperley better
I wish she had worn the blue skirt.
No doubt I would love it if she wore the same skirt from the runway, it would look great on her.
+1. The runway skirt would have looked so youthful and vibrant, but this skirt makes everything so ageing.
Not good.
washed out look.
Its too sombre and boring. Wish she had worn the blue skirt from the runway.
Yes I like Emma Roberts and style is wonderful
Drab and matronly. She needs a do-over.
She looks like an Olson sister in this outfit, which (in my book) isn’t good. Bland, oversized clothing, no particular spark to this look. I agree that the original look would have worked better here. Something different with the hair and more eyeliner, perhaps, as well.
Way too much fabric and the fit is too loose. Doesn’t really look age appropriate.
I just can’t get on board with this. It looks terribly matronly on her.
Droopy, drab, and boring. It would take more than a pop of colour to wake this up.
I like it.
boring.
it’s boring.She looked old.
This ages her so much. I like the idea of a covered belly – hate the runaway look – but the final result was boring…
Horrible – everything – the fit, the skirt, the top, the hair, the posture. It just doesn’t work. Even multiple pops of colour wouldn’t make this work.
