Nina Dobrev was at the Saban Theatre on Saturday to promote her TV series, ‘The Vampire Diaries’, during PaleyFest 2012 with her co-stars.
Even though the cast mostly wore black, Nina stood out wearing a cute Rachel Zoe ‘Kiki’ ruffle dress from the Resort 2012 collection.
The uber-cute feminine ruffled jacquard confection was teamed with an amazing pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Gail’ pony-skin leather-print sandals.
A sky-blue Rebecca Minkoff clutch and a wavy bun swept to the side completed her look.
This is a great look for Nina; she’s on a continual roll, but I wish the clutch was in a more standout colour like pink or red.

Love her shoes
Me too.
They are pretty hot.
This is great. Slowly but sure, she become a pro in Red Carpet. Good for her.
She looks pretty ordinary to be honest. The model here looks better! Its too simple and she needs to work onher hair and look too.
Polina, you’re right! The style doesn’t work at all for her. The shoes are nice and suit her well, but she better would have opted for another dress!
Agreed. She lets the dresses do all of the work and that has yet to pay off for me.
The shoes and the clutch are terrible, I mean that they’re nonsense together. The fabric of the dress looks a bit cheap. Nothing special, for me.
I love her look. I think it spells simplicity and elegence perfectly.
I love her shoes. But I think the dress looks a bit odd on her frame and I’m not down with her hair at all.
To be honest, overall, her co-star, Kat Graham struck me as the more stylish or at least interestingly-dressed person at Paleyfest.
Yeah I agree. Kat and also Candice looked much better than Nina. FC, can you ID what those two were wearing?
Finally she ups her shoe game! She’s on a great roll right now, let’s hope she continues down this path.
I don’t love this but I don’t hate it either. The ruffles come off as a little “clown” and something is weird about the fit across her torso or maybe she’s posing funny in this picture?
Those shoes are amazing
looks a little too HS prom for me tbh. Her heels are fab, but I feel like she just put it with this outfit so that she’d look trendsett-y and edgy, but I really feel it looks out of place.
I like it better on the model.
She always looks like she’s going to junior prom. I like the girl, but her innate tackiness kicks in 80% of the time.
Exactly!
For me the shoes really overwhelm that light dress. Her hair looks really stagey and I like the neckline of the dress on the model much better than on Nina. Not a winner in my opinion
very ugly dress.
I think she looks adorable and I love the shoes.
I love this look from neck-to-toe, but I’m a little confused by the hairstyle.
It´s an adorable well done look for Nina. The flirty hairstyle and sexy shoes work perfectly with the sweet dress without making this look too cutesy. The blue clutch is also my only complaint here, simple black with a silver detail perhaps, I don´t think she needs a very bright pop of colour with the super standout shoes like these.
I remember Nina’s red carpet styles before the Emmys last year and it was kind of terrible. I think this dress is very much Nina’s style but it looks very cute on her. And I’m in love with the shoes. I think she is getting better on the red carpet.
The dress is so cute, love the shoes! Just wish she was standing a little straighter in this picture cuz it looks a lil odd
Posture can really kill a look for me. On the model, the dress looks flirty and sassy & I love it. On Nina, all I get is awkward girl at prom :/
And while I like the shoes, I’m not convinced they were the right choice here.
Lovely dress, lovely girl, but her posture in comparison to the model’s is a shame. I may be in the minority, but I don’t like the shoes. They are overcooked.
