The Cinema Society and Opium Yves Saint Laurent held a screening of Emily Blunt’s new film ‘Salmon Fishing in the Yemen’ on Thursday night in New York City.
The actress wore a playful Miu Miu Resort 2012 black-and-white print dress with a ruffled neckline and cap sleeves, keeping warm by layering with opaque black tights and ankle boots.
A thin yellow leather belt provides a very subtle pop of colour.

Not a good look for her. The dress is too young for her (the print, the length, the ruffled neckline), it clashes with her mature hairstyle and makeup. I guess the idea was to make this short girlie dress work for her age but I really don’t think it does. Wouldn’t choose those earrings and the belt either.
Adorable dress, but I wish that it was longer and that she had worn it sans tights. Also, the yellow belt isn’t really working for me. I would have preferred it to be wider. She looks beautiful as always, though.
