Sarah Jessica Parker joined Marc Jacobs on the red carpet for ‘Louis Vuitton – Marc Jacobs: The Exhibition’ in Paris yesterday evening, following the Fall 2012 presentation.
She delved into the archives yet again, this time opting for a Louis Vuitton Spring 2002 dress.
Summer appears to have come early for SJP, because this was the second spring-like look she sported yesterday.
Her white maxi dress with a floral print on the hem of the skirt was teamed with a ribbon belt and a silver necklace.
I much prefer this to her bra-baring front-row look from earlier in the day.

Oh, she looks great, such a lovely silhouette, really chic and feminine.
Looks like a costume from a Mid Summer Night’s Dream. Dont care fore the heavy eye makeup.
I agree the makeup doesn’t work, the outfit is really lovely on her.
It’s fine but not special
Somehow this light summery gown draws attention to her not-so-young age. The silver necklace is too heavy for this dress, no need for it (her standout hair is enough), and she should go easier on that eyeliner, it also seems too heavy for this summery look and quite aging.
Yes, it seems too young for her. I liked it on the model, who had a more ethereal and youthful presence. I only wish that this dress had better bust support, as that top is unflattering on both of them.
lovely. I like it a lot and finally she’s not wearing any weird and unnecessary accessories.
Her make-up and the dress don’t tell the same story. The make up is too dark and harsh for this delicate spring like dress.
this dress and her age doesnt match…start dressing your age woman
I wonder is she was cold. The dress is pretty. The makeup is too heavy for a light summery dress.
the dress is alright, looks a little like a nightgown. the make-up i adore SJP with all my heart, but the heavy eye make-up does her no favours especially as she has rather small eyes.
It looks like a dowdy curtain/night dress. All that is missing is a sleeping cap. Her face is scary.. so much makeup?
I love me some vintage !
I love how she picks previous collections… these beatiful dresses deserve some red carpet moments
Looks like she just got out of bed. Not a fan
Man, if you think the Duchess of Cambridge has eyeliner problems…
This is a summer, not a spring dress! And it’s too summery for March!
lighten the makeup! put the hair up! this might lessen the contrast between ethereal, young gown and middle aged woman
it’s jarring, the juxtaposition

If only it was june already – i like it a lot: has a blend of romance and freshness that is really special
Ah, her face! The racoon eyes, the sunken cheeks and the seeming fatigue. Heavy make-up, nude make-up … neither would work to cover up. SJP looked like a kooky character from a Dickens’ novel. I think it’s possible to evolve your personal style as you age, without losing your fashion identity. Here, the dress was beautiful, but it belonged to an SJP stuck in the past, whereas her face is very present.
The contrast between the model and SJP is almost scary.. she needs to dress her age and that make up….
it’s a summer dress, appropriate for a day on the beach or something similar, not the best for March or the event
The makeup is tragic …
LOVE!!!!! great for going back into the archives…SJP,no matter if you hate or love, is a true Fashion muse.
Now, this is a great look! So much better than the previous one! I love when celebrities go back to the archives!
