I love Sarah Jessica Parker, I really do, but she doesn’t half test my love.
If she’s not over accessorising, she wearing a cross body bag on the red carpet.
Today the actress was front row at Louis Vuitton during Paris Fashion Week wearing a Louis Vuitton Spring 2005 look which features my two pet peeves: a visible bra and white shoes.
I would’ve given her a pass on the white LV pumps, but I just can’t get on board with the bra which is visible via the lace part of her LWD.
This is such a huge shame because I love the dress, just not how she has presented it.
I do, however, love her voluminous mane.

My sentiments exactly! Had she worn a nude or white bra…. would it had been better? Several arguments to that one. I am sure, she had pondered on her choice of brasserie!

yeah your right, a white bra would have been much better, this is a lucky mistake, but a white bra, would have looked more planned and on purpose!
I actually find this dress flattering on her. She can manage to look sexy and young, and usually she looks older. But the shoes and the gloves have to go.

I think on SJP, I accept almost anything! So used to seeing her in all kinds of unusual combinations that nothing looks weird on her.

I’m with FC on this one. The black bra and white shoes are awful. While SJP can look amazing sometimes, I’m really starting to think that she is lost without Patricia Field.
Oh god! A dress with such potential and she wasted it. Imagine the dress with a nude or even a white bustier top.. it would have been heavenly. She was just out to shock, I guess.. Two looks ruined by her wannabe edgy.. the pink Oscar? with the leather jacket and now this. What a shame!

That hair is gorgeous!!! I love the addition of gloves. And honestly, I don’t mind the bra. Maybe because it hits that bustline ruffle that I’m not as put-off. But I think she looks great. I’d love to see this on the weekend poll!
almost everything look good on her! I used to watch sex and the city to see her fashion styles. she is elegant. anyway i like sheerness race tops these days.

LOL, SJP is a style icon, a fashion forward woman, avant-garde, of course she wouldn’t just wear the runway look like it was presented, the exposed bra is the unexpected (and amazing) touch of hers. Personally, I prefer the runway look, but on her it would look so plain and boring just because she is SJP and we expect amazing, unexpected looks from her, and that what she gave to us!!! The hair is impeccable, but the shoes are huge no no, it looks so”just came out of the office” it does not work with her amazing outfit, some silver crystal heels would’ve been totally blow-minding.

Loathe. Visible bras were slutty in the 80′s. Her hair would have been vulgar in the 80′s (well, maybe not, but I hate it now). And she can’t pull the two bracelets thing off the way princess Diana did.

I actually like it better with the black bra. It adds some sexiness, and doesnt look trashy. The runway styling is a bit bland

I love this! My only complaint is that I would have preferred the skirt to be just a slightly bit shorter.
I love white shoes but peekaboo bras are a pet peeve of mine. I don’t mind this though since the bra is strapless and kinda looks like a bustier. Love from me!

A nude bra would have excused the shoes, which only work with solid white ensembles anyway. I find the black bra tacky.
HATE the black bra. Super-tacky–wish that the bodice was lined, or at least with a white bustier (not a bra!) The silhouette is super-cute but this (and those pointy white pumps) are NOT working…her hair looks good but overall this is a mess.

I hate visible bras but for some reason I don’t hate this. Guess it’s the modern bustier vibe. Shoes are inexcusable though. Hair is amazing.

The visible bra thing is so yesterday. However, it didn’t entirely ruin the look. SJP still looked pretty and one-and-only. One thing about skinny women over a certain age (like my mom and aunts) is that they start to look like a dried up tree. All you see is the veins, wrinkles and big joints. While I love SJP for staying natural, sometimes it’s not a bad idea to cover up a bit.
I cannot forgive those shoes… everything else is edible incredible.
