Our favourite Asian actress, Fan Bingbing, has been M.I.A for a while.
I was delighted to see her in Paris for Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2012 presentation this morning.
Oh how I have missed her. I mean who else is going to show up at a fashion show channelling Hilda Ogden.
Whilst paying homage to the British TV legend wearing a white lace head wrap over her red curls, she wore a white Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 laser cut dress with a voluminous skirt.
I love the chic white wool coat worn over her shoulders. It gives her look cosy winter feel.
A white clutch and red platform pumps to match her red lips completed her look.

ugh she ruined a beautiful dress
Yup.
Should have stuck with the runway shoes, too. What’s with the wigs? Is she hiding something or just changing it up?
+1
I was thinking she was trying to look like Lucille Ball. I hate the hair color on her and the head wrap is awful.
That’s exactly who I was thinking of too; how very Lucille Ball of her. I personally think the combo of the sugary sweet white dress and the red hair kinda washes her out. The dress itself is beautiful and she looks beautiful, but the two don’t mix that well for me. Nevertheless, great to see Fan Bing Bing!
Totally agree.
Yes, very I Love Lucy. The dress and red shoes are great, but the fake hair looks like some kind of raw meat – really not flattering.
She would’ve looked great if she didn’t done that head wrap. That and the hair color make her look ten years older.
Anyway, my best dressed at this presentation was Dianna Agron.
I love Fan but am not hugely in favor of this look. I don’t really like the dress to start with, I guess–it doesn’t feel right on the model, Elle Fanning, or on Fan. It’s just kind of…meh. Also, her quirky headress/wig doesn’t work for me.
The dress and coat look more stunning and interesting on her from other angles.
just…dreadful
The hair and shoes are unfortunate
The dress is beautiful.I like how she matched the shoes with her hair: very sweet. I might be nitpicking now but I have problems with the dress’s hemline: it looks like she folded it under and applied iron on hemming tape. The look could be improved by ditching the headpiece and the coat.
I hate the head wrap.
I really dont like it at all…it looked georgeous on the runway but this time Fan ruined it. Whats on her head???
I don’t like it…
I don’t really care about the maid head band and the hair..
The horrible hem, which is totally visiable and the fact that she totally ruined the falre of dress with the heavy coat is taking down the whole look..
Elle Fanning wore it much better
She is giving us I love Lucy realness. Bing Bing you’ve got some splainin’ to do.
really bad
The shoes are hideous. And the hair.
she looks great yet not boring! I’ve missed her… always great to see her during fashion week
+1
also i loved her matching parasol and sunglasses when she was outside!
The dress and coat are lovely. But I don’t like the shoes and the red Lucy curls are extremely distracting.
I think Elle Fanning wore this dress and with the runway shoes. Not really feeling this dress, played straight (Elle) or played kooky (Bingbing).
That’s what you would call a fashion victim
I used to lvoe ehr and as thanful as I am that she isn’t wearing anotehr Elei Saab dress (I love him, but some times there is too much of a good thing), I hate this look. Ireally don’t like that she seems ot have no in between, it’s either princess or charicature.
Also, Elle Fanning has already worn this dress.

this look would have suited diane krueger better i’d imagine.
why does fan always have to slop so much makeup on her? someone please tell her sometimes less is more!
CC
LOVE HER!!! She is so fun and as always, surprising. Ladies, you got to admit she dresses wayyy better than those Hollywood stars who only put on the dress and expect it to work it out on its own e.g. Jessica Alba.
In many ways, don’t you see the shadow of Marilyn Monroe?
Such as the mole on her face, and turbans
Agree, the mole looks elegant here.
This is mortifyingly bad. Let it be known, I am Chinese myself. Which is why when I look at the version on Bingbing and then back at the model, the actress not only did not elevate the outfit to what a true fashionista should, the look looks like it is worn by a fashion victim. Overdressed, over accessorised and bad bad colour coordination. Truly regretful.
You meant your fav Asian actress. I know you love her so am really anxious to see if she’ll make it to the BDOTW. Fab week
Oh i missed her so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!SHE LOOK FANTASTIC!
I like it.
The curls and the head wrap ruin it for me.
the curl and its colour is hidious, and those shoes.too heavy. she really ruined this beautiful dress
I’m sorry, but this is horrible.
I don’t understand.
She always looks ridiculous. She is overrated.
+ 1
And too much make-up. Always.
I think she is stunning!
I love the dress and the coat, but that’s it. I don’t like the way she styled her hair and the shoes are too heavy for this look.
