Freida Pinto was at the Mandarin Oriental Ballroom in New York City yesterday attending the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Men and Women event with Rose Byrne and Datoka Fanning.
The Indian beauty wore a YSL Edition Soir look which featured a black embroidered bustier and an electric blue skirt.
Black satin Trib Too’s and a black hair band, to hold up her chic updo, completed her look.

This is very lackluster for Freida. She can do sooo much better. And dont like those shoes one bit!
I like the hair, everything else meh
LOVE the hair and the flirtatious look she is tossing over bee shoulder. The blue is a gorgeous color for her but accessories let her down a bit (why why can’t TribToos begone?).
+1. Love her!
I love the sass with which she is working this chic, sexy outfit. The shoes are a wee bit clunky, but oh well. The blue is so electrifying!
Gorrrgeous, love the headband
The shoes are a nightmare.
A tear … so sad!
hot pink lips with better shoes and this look would’ve been way better
She looks livelier here than she has in some time. The hair is lovely, and the lighter color eye makeup gives her a fresh look.
She looks cute, playful, and classy and ladylike elegant at the same time, I like it, the electric blue brightens up the look while the headband adds a perfect flirty touch, the skirt could’ve been better fitted, but I like this look on her, she looks good, and working it.
Boring.
I will say I like the hair and makeup. If she wore other shoes maybe that would have breathed some life into the dress.
just when i thought those shoes couldnt get any uglier. nice from the ankles up.
She looks fantastic, but I wish she were a little more adventurous with her shoe choice
Wow, I must say- this is one of my favorite looks of 2012 already! I think Pinto looks gorgeous and classy. BDOTW contender? I think so!
Loving the hair and makeup…looks very age appropriate and fresh. The dress is ho-hum though.
Love the color combo and her hair and makeup. The skirt is a bit too tight (it’s stretching across her hips) and the shoes are boring, so it only gets a B from me.
It is not the most exciting dress, but she looks soo lovely. Great hair and makeup and lovely playful smile.
She looks so classy yet sexy. I love that color on her and her hair looks great! *Ignores the shoes*
The skirt is bunching up, the shoes are awful and the headband looks silly. She’s beautiful but this outfit is not good.
She is pretty as a picture but those shoes!! I love the color of the dress but the ill fitting skirt ruins the lines.
FC, is it possible for India Jewel to do a How To make up for her look? Its usually flawless and as someone with the exact same colouring as hers it would be infinitely helpful for me!! Thank you!
Not crazy about the outfit, but the photo of her looking over her shoulder is absolutely beautiful.
love the skirt but hate the shoes
DAKOTA Fanning…
Love the look.. love the make up
This dress is very similar to what Diane Kruger wore, back 15 March 2009, at the Metropolitan Opera 125th Anniversary Gala. But that YSL gown was truly breath-taking, one of my favorites from D.K.Freida looks ok here, but I hate the shoes
That was exactly my thought! I loved that gown on Diane Kruger – I had actually voted her as my BDOTY for that look! However, here, it looks so boring…
And now I’m voting her as my BDOAT- Best dressed of all times:)
Aside from the shoes, I really love this look and her hair and makeup is gorgeous!!
