During Cannes back in May last year, Kirsten Dunst started to really wow us on the red carpet and thankfully she has continued to do so ever since.
For the ‘Melancholia’ premiere she looked stunning wearing a Rodarte Fall 2011 polka-dot haltered mermaid dress with a forest-green wool bodice.
With chic glossy blonde locks she added silver jewels to her look.
Designer Tory Burch wore the same dress to the Vanity Fair party in LA on Sunday evening.
She teamed her dress with stunning Tory Burch earrings and a black clutch.
For those earrings alone, Tory wins for me.

LOL…don’t like either of them! I couldn’t imagine anyone looking good in this one. Just unflattering.
They both look great but my vote goes to Kirsten for better hair and makeup.
Kirsten gets my vote for better hair and makeup as well.
And what’s the point, really, of wearing major statement earrings if you’re going to cover them up with the loose and too casual looking hair, she should’ve pulled it back then.
I like how the dress looks on Kristen but I like Tory’s earrings better.
I don’t really like the dress, period. But, Tory’s earrings are perfection.
This is not an easy dress to pull off so kudos to both of them that they look so fab!

I think it works better on Tory. It’s just aging on Kirsten. I actually did a double take and thought – whoa, when did Kirsten turn 45? Tory Burch IS 45, so it works for her.

They look so similar even down to the drop earrings and blonde side-part that they might as well be the same person. So I vote Kirsten because she wore it first; Tory needs to individualize it better (and not just with a black clutch).
Ah, when I saw Tory Burch’s photos, I knew I had seen this dress again, but I couldn’t remember who had worn it first. Both Kirsten and Tory wore it well, but I voted for Kirsten just because she wore it first.
