Vanessa Hudgens joined in the Oscar night festivities at the 20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party.
She wore a gorgeous Georges Chakra Spring 2012 Couture gown.
Her gold strapless mermaid gown with leather foiled cut-outs was thankfully modified to remove the halter strap.
Vanessa’s hair already makes this look feel very matronly; removing the strap keeps the look youthful.
A vintage gold crystal mesh Swarovski clutch completed her look.

Looks heavy and too much gold.
The hair is a huge no but I love the dress although it could’ve been nipped in at the waist more.
She’s way better on Tibi than in this one.
I honestly didn’t look at her face for a while I assumed it was jsut anothe rglamorous actess, althoguh I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not. I feel like this is a little too old for her, the hair especially.
This look does nothing for her. On the runway it had a sort of edgy elegance,but Vanessa’s strapless, more sack like look and the matronly hair really make it unexciting.

I quite like the halter on the model, but I doubt Vanessa could’ve pulled it off.
I’m also missing the shape and height to really complement the dress.

I don’t get this post FC, you’re thankful she removed the strap but you think it would have made this look more youthful? I don’t like this gown on her, it makes her look thick in the middle.

I like her hair, the dress really does not give her any shape, kind of too much dress for such a small girl.
This dress looks stunning on her. I’m not even sure who this woman is but I know shes very young. This look borders on being a bit too mature but is certainly miles better than Miley Cyrus’ monstrosity!
