Olivia Wilde looked stunning on the red carpet of the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, held in West Hollywood last night.
In her second Gucci look of the weekend, Olivia wore a black silk georgette Pre-Fall 2012 evening gown with black crystal and sequin-embroidered black velvet belt detail accented with dragonflies.
The actress drew full attention to her gorgeous face with a sleek ballerina bun and kohl-rimmed eyes.
A gold choker and matching clutch accessorize the gown.

I’m on the fence with the choker.
She looks breathtaking otherwise.
I’m usually not her fan, but I really like the look. Gold choker + black gown were just perfect. It reminded me of Cate Blanchett’s Jean-Paul Gaultier gown + gold accessories at the 2000 Oscars. While that was an edgier look, I like the black dress + gold accessories + pale skin combo.
I really could have loved this had she not decided on a choker.
Why? It didn’t work for Ms. Wiig, at all, so why?
I really love everythign apart from teh gold wrapped around her neck.

I think she looks really pretty, although I don’t exactly like the dress much, it’s pretty meh. And chokers are always a big no-no for me. But she works this dress better than she’s worked any dress recently.
