Mia Wasikowska celebrated Oscar night in West Hollywood at the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
The young actress was the first to wear an Antonio Berardi Fall 2012 look which was presented during London Fashion Week exactly seven days ago.
Her dark grey, sleeveless gown with an asymmetrical floral panel detail didn’t excite us as much as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s breath-taking redvBerardi gown.
That being said the gown is a perfect fit to Mia’s not fuss, minimal style.
A slight poufed up-do and barely there makeup finish the ensemble.

The complete opposite of Rosie’s gorgeous look. This is very…blah. Like an old rug.
Nice, but her severe looking hairdo is giving this a somber vibe. Long hair and jewels would inject some fun into this. Gwyneth would have known how to handle this.
Her style reminds me vaguely of Clare Danes. Minimalist chic.
The dress lost something in translation, I love it on the runway but not here. Also the hair and makeup isn’t the best.
Don’t like it. Too heavy looking and the color washes her out. Hair is bland too.
It takes a special kind of talent to blend in with the grass behind and she’s not even wearing green. Blach!
How boring is that! Occasionally, we get a couple of Aussies that are not quite easy on the eyes. But Mia is a great actress, I must say. I like her better than anyone who’s a terrible actress and a terrific mannequin.
This girl is soooooooo boring. Jesus!
I am not sure if it was a celebration or mourning for her. The dress would suit someone 10-15 years older than her much better. Plus, I just don’t think it’s a party dress.
Boring.
It’s a heavy design with what seems like a lot of fabric. The shape of the dress is too boxy for her body shape too. The hip ruffle is also superfluous and adds no needed detail. The reason why they stuck turquoise shoes on the runway model is because they knew it needed a pop of color. Unfortunately, Mia or her stylist missed this key element to make the dress work better.
I actually love the look. The colors are dark but I thinks it looks great
This is a stunning dress. I don’t know what some of you are looking at honestly…..
