Malin Akerman attended Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in LA yesterday.
As I suggested with regards to Shailene Woodley, Malin had this Sportmax Spring 2012 dress designed into a gown.
Her fully embroidered gown with cut-out details in the neckline and a patent leather waistband was styled with Chopard jewels and beachy waves.

The dress is good, but the gown is far better. It’s a great year so far from Malin.

That neckline is extraordinarily unfortunate.
I’m sure the embroidery looks beautiful in person but it doesn’t photograph well. I think if you are going to be at a work event where you know you’re going to be photographed, then you need to wear a dress that photographs well. Also, ditch the superfluous chest T!
