Dianna Agron watched last night’s Oscars in West Hollywood at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party.
The ‘Glee’ star went floral in a Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2012 dress. The flowing silk mushroom print gown is pretty enough, but feels too casual for such a major night.
This sweet dress would have been perfect for Saturday night’s Independent Spirit Awards, but just doesn’t quite have the glam factor when compare Dianna’s dress to the rest of the evening’s show-stopping gowns.
A Jimmy Choo clutch and shoes, with Neil Lane jewelry complete the look.
I much prefer the look with the belt. Do you?

i love this dress but it looks better with the red belt
It was so gorgeous on the model–floaty, ethereal, and perfectly finished with the belt. On Dianna it loses some of its charm, unfortunately. I think that’s because a) it doesn’t fit the event (it would have perfect for the Spirit awards, as you said, FC) b) it is too long and c) she should’v kept the belt. Disappointing, because it is a lovely dress.
This dress is not working on any level. She’s too young to dress like this
I really liked it! It’s refreshing among all those heavy embelished gowns and I think her nice accessories make it chic enough for the party! Thanks for the coverage FC! Always the best on internet!
thanks a lot x
I know she’s made quite a splash before in Carolina Herrera, but I think she creates too soft an impact when she wears her designs.
i love the dress.. don’t know if it really works here, but i would love to wear it, attending a wedding at summertime
IMO, this is too casual.
great look but wrong occasion
I think this dress looks good both with and without a belt. But still, it feels too casual for an Oscar after-party.
