After her daring Elie Saab jumpsuit at the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards, I’ve been dying to see what Rose Byrne would wear on the red carpet for tonight’s 2012 Oscars.
The ‘Bridesmaids’ actress showed off her svelte figure in a black sequined Vivienne Westwood one-shoulder dress.
I love both the simplicity and glamour of this form-fitting dress. She’s smouldering.
Towering Jimmy Choo ‘New Linda’ heels and Chanel jewelry including stunning ‘Luere d’un Soir’ earrings completed the look.

not your typical drapey, pointy Vivienne Westwood! I love how liquid the bodice looks. Not crazy about the shoes, but I love the her hair and the other accessories.

I wasn’t sold on her hair before but it looks very good here–sleek yet effortless. The dress is fine..the bodice doesn’t seem to fit very well and frankly I think it’s a bit too lowkey for the Oscars.

At first I though she had a big head, but in fact it is her narrow body that makes her look big-headed.
every time I see these d@mn platform heels take an A+ look to a strip club my heart sinks a bit.
I would not have pegged this as a Vivienne Westwood gown. Rose looks gorgeous in this slinky black number…I know it is supposed to be dark blue, but it reads pure black in every photo I’ve seen. I think she nailed it and is definitely one of the best dressed. However, both she and Angelina Jolie are too thin.
At first I thought she looked stunning. Then I paned down to the heavy suede platforms and thought ewwwww, not right at all.
