Gwyneth Paltrow In Boy. by Band of Outsiders – 5th Annual Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party

Gwyneth Paltrow joined Vanessa Hudgens and Jessica Chastain on the red carpet for the 5th Annual Women in Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party in LA last night.

The actress who loves a black jumpsuit, opted to wear a tuxedo inspired Boy. by Band of Outsiders Fall 2012 look with satin lapels.

This laidback no fuss look is classic Gwynie.

She fills in the deep plunging neckline with long Loree Rodkin neckline with a wing pendent.

Black-and-gold trimmed Jimmy Choo ‘Koko’ sandals, signature straight tresses and barely-there makeup completed her look.

She looks fantastic, but I’m kinda getting a deja vu

I saw a little TV clip yesterday on her shoot for Harper’s bazaar and she looks really sexy in that shoot

This look is great for turning the traditional tux into such a nice and feminine look. I think she works the plunging neckline well but I keep getting the feeling that she has done the low neckline thing way too many times – maybe she should change things up a bit and cover up more?

    I like it, nice shoes.

I love a black jumpsuit, add tuxedo detail and it’s my best friend! This look works so well for her. Simple & sophisticated with sex appeal. I would not have known it was a jumpsuit on first glance which actually makes it more interesting! I like the simple styling. It’s all about her beautiful physique and face.

I just can’t get into all these down to the navel plunging necklines. Rihanna pulled it off beautifully but in general I feel I have seen way way too much of a few people over the last few days. Not one of Gwynnie’s best looks.

Rihanna pulls it off beautifully and Gwyneth doesn’t? I think Rihanna should take some tips from Gwyneth on how to work a plunging neckline. She makes it look effortless, just saying.

I think part of the problem is that I have never bought “sexy” Gwyneth. Classy Gwyneth, yes. I just don’t see the sexy thing as suiting her overall image, so it feels contrived and insincere to me. For Rihanna, the sexpot thing has always been a big part of her appeal. Gwyneth was always the girl next door, and even when she’s doing raunchy comedy, Blythe Danner is ever the perfectly turned-out society lady – and Gwyneth very much has her demeanor. So to see this much chest from Gwyneth? It just doesn’t work for me.

I have to agree with you. I like that Gwyneth isnt forcing the sexy and she comes off very effortless.

I agree Ariel, I much prefer Gwyneth’s sexy because she doesn’t over do it. Rhianna gives you skin from everywhere – chest, back and legs – with her Armani, Givenchy and Stella McCartney looks of late whereas Gwyn gives sexy in a more sophisticated and very effortless way.

I like it! It’s simple and refined.
