Emma Stone In Elie Saab Couture – 5th Annual ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon

On Thursday afternoon, Emma Stone dined in Beverly Hills at the 5th Annual ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon.

‘The Help’ actress donned an Elie Saab Couture Spring 2012 dress with three-quarter length sleeves.

Her white embroidered dress shows off a flash of skin on the otherwise sweet shape, with an open-back detail.

Emma accessorizes with Brian Atwood heels, a Ferragamo bag and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry.

This is a great fit for Emma, but I’m completely let down by her colourless styling. A bright pair of heels would have taken this look to the next level.

    What a shame!

If you let down by her accessorizes, i was let down by her hair.

Ditto. Her hair is what bothers me most here, it’s a bit of a mess.
This does feel a tad washed out but her red hair partially makes up for the lack of colour, and I wouldn’t go for bright heels with this fresh luncheon look, only a bit brighter lips perhaps.

You’re right with the styling FC but I think she do looks great. I mean you can’t do anything wrong by wearing Elie.

She is so gorgeous, I don’t mind her accessories, just keeping it simple

I think she looks great. I even like the nude shoes for once as they make her look taller.

Such a pretty dress but it washes her out a bit. I would have loved a bright lip with bright shoes.

I think for she looks great. I like that the accessories are understated.

Although a pair of bright shoes would be great with this outfit, I actually like it very much the way it is. It may be quite safe, but still, it is so cute!

I don’t mind the accessories actually, I feel like she is going for a light & airy and girly look, and sadly fun shoes don’t fit into that, except I’m sure that there were better options than these shoes, btu whatever.
Also, she generally has good shoe choice, so I’m nto too let down by one pair of nude platform peeptoes, except I really hate the hair.

LOVE! She looks perfect and adorable as always. I don’t mind the nude shoes–her hair adds a pop of color! BDOTW condenter! :)

I have to disagree, this look is hitting the “BEST DRESSED OF THE MONTH” button so hard it hurts

  17. Kennedy February 24, 2012 at 19:53 #

I would have loved for her to wear a bright red lippie but she still looks stunning. Her smile can light up a room! BDOTW contender for sure!

I adore this dress. And you’re right, FC. It’s the perfect canvas for colourful accessories.

She looks adorable. This look for me is simple, she could have taken it up a notch with more exciting accessories but we know she can do that. The simplicity and ease of this look sits well with me. It’s not show stopping but it’s pretty and classic.

I can completely get passed the boring accessories. Her hair is enough color for me, I LOVE her in this dress.
