Kate Bosworth joined the long list of stars to honour the 40th Anniversary of Charlie Chaplin’s honorary Academy Award in L.A. on Tuesday evening, the very next day after the attending the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012 presentation in London.
The actress donned a long-sleeved Stella McCartney dress.
Her navy look was adorned with emerald embroidery and black gemstones along the front.
I’m not sure about you, but I get a bit of a peacock vibe from this outfit, but at least it is not another polka-dotted cut-out Stella dress.
Red Miu Miu heels and a Jewel Mint clutch complete the ensemble.

I am mesmerized by her hair. I don’t think it ever looks this good.
agreed! i want this “i didn’t do anything to my hair but it looks so damm awsome” vibe for me!!
My thoughts as well, I don’t believe it’s ever looked this beautiful!
Her hair and make up are always flawless….. she looks very pretty
Although I´m not a fan of the dress, I do like the look, she totally makes it work – the red shoes and the gold clutch complement the emerald-embroidered dress beautifully while the pretty hair and makeup finish the look perfectly. Plus she is bringing some attitude. My only complaint is her typical turned-in feet. She needs to work on her stance.
Ditto – why does she stand like that all the time?
she looks awesome for me!
she’s working the dress, shoes are also great and as Cristina said her hair-do is incredible (:
one thing I’d actually ask for would be burgund lippie to match her shoes.
i think she looks great! i love the hair and makeup!
+1
Love this look. To me, Kate is almost always BDOTW worthy.
i loved this look from head-to-toe!
her lipstick matches with her shows and the combination of blue and “wine” red!
The dress is a bit different but she pulls it off wonderfully. Love how she punched it up with the red shoes! And WOW, her hair has never looked this good! She is so gorgeous!
+1 I think she looks great.
so pretttttttttty!
i love everything im just not a fan of the embellishments on the dress. but the blue looks amazing on her.
BDOTW of the week for me, to be honest. I’m just totally in love with Kate at the moment. She’s one of the few people that makes me fall head over heels with more casual looks the way I might fall head over heels for someone else wearing a gown.
I love the hair and the dress but the shoes are an ugly color. I can’t stand her pigeon-toed stance.
The shoes and clutch really bump this look up a notch, her makeup and hair are, as others have noted, beautiful.
The pigeon toed thing must stop, she does that every single time, makes her look like she doesn’t own her own body. Her hair usually sucks, so this is extensions, but face/hair look good. Navy is a good color for her.
Her extensions are incredibly fake looking I’m so distracted by them.
She pulled this together beautifully. I’d say it’s worthy of consideration for BDOTW.
The 40th Anniversary of Charlie Chaplin receiving an award? Any excuse for a photo opportunity, I suppose.
Best dressed of the week!
I don’t think this is BDOTW worthy by any means.
I don’t know who most desperatly need to eat, Kate or Angelina Jolie
Is she wearing her momma’s shoes? lol…
awwww, she’s so pretty
