I was seduced by the glamour on display during Alberta Ferretti’s Fall 2012 runway presentation.
Models with sleek centre-parted buns showcased simple chic looks on a colour palette of black, white, deep purple and pops of royal blue which had seductive silhouettes.
I loved the masculine overtones to the tailored suits and outerwear which was in total contrast to the pretty dresses, floaty gowns and the chunky knits which you have to fasten up from the back.
Unlike the previous collection, the knee-length dresses will not take you from day to night as they had sensual lace panels and sexy cuts-outs.
Oscar and Cannes-worthy gowns made up the finale of looks. They were mostly black, sexy and sheer with purple gowns in the mix, plus a bridal-esque white gown closed the show.
I would love to see look 39 on Oscar night.

Wow, what a great collection. Love every look on the top row.
I would take 39 or the one you choose for Rooney Mara. I love the color scheme!
I didn’t like all the sheerness but that purple gown with the cap sleeves is GORGEOUS! I hope someone wears it to the Oscars…Viola, or maybe Octavia? Michelle? ANYBODY!
I love the coats and the black feather dresses. During the winter time poor actresses are always wearing dresses to their premieres and nearly freeze to death. Why not wear a fabulous coat like the second look in this collection?
The 3rd dress you’ve posted for Zoe Saldana and the 4th one for Jessica Chastain.
Beautiful collection. Look 38 is possibly my favorite gown, I just love all the detail.
