Costume design in TV and film was recognized at the 14th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards, held in Beverly Hills last night.
Kate Beckinsale was awarded the ‘Lacoste Spotlight Award’ for her fashionable work in films.
Accepting the award, Kate wore a draped Vivienne Westwood gown.
At first glance, this grey colour seems like another one of Kate’s beloved nude gowns, but upon closer inspection, it’s actually a subtle print of light blue and white fans.
The actress even added off-the-shoulder sleeves to her signature strapless silhouette.
Bochic jewelry, a Kotur clutch, and Ferragamo shoes complete the look.

W.O.W. Unspeakably gorgeous! THIS is the way to wear an off-the-shouler neckline–not droopy, awkward, or falling off but totally elegant and flattering. Kate looks super glamorous. BDOTW!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
Beautiful gown on her, great fit, shows off her tiny waist beautifully, the earrings complement the gown well. Not loving the ‘do – the piece framing her face is a bit heavy and distracting. The eye makeup could’ve been a bit more flattering. But she looks really good, I like it.

I’m a big fan of her, she’s very beautiful and she always looks impeccable on the red carpet. The dress is gorgeous, a beautiful tone of grey, but I don’t like the make up, it’s too shiny and a bit unflattering respect to her usual flawless make ups.

Beautiful and elegant. Great color with her dark hair and skin tone. I like the earrings with the dress, though lots of folks would not have thought to pair those two–the dress is so much more elegant.

I think she looks nice, bu tit is deja vu on so many levels. For starters the silhouette is overdone, this colour looks like the colour of every other gown she has worn, and the draped dtail on the skirt with the bodice reminds me so so much of Ellen Pompeo in that gorgeous silver nina ricci gown a few years ago, but obviously that was better.

You would think corset dresses could have a great effect on anyone, but Vivienne Westwood always looks it’s best on tiny waisted women like Beckinsale.
