Chloe Moretz walked the purple carpet at the 14th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards on Tuesday evening.
Like Kate Beckinsale, Chloe donned Vivienne Westwood, wearing a metallic black Vivienne Westwood Couture dress.
Perhaps to match her edgy dress, Chloe showed off bright pink streaks in her hair which we have not seen before.
I wonder if the teen actress is heading into a rebellious phase, or just having fun experimenting.
Either way this dress, once again, feels too mature for her.
Why is it so passee for a teen to dress like a teen?

One big awkward unflattering mess. Way too mature for her. She doesn’t have the body, the height and of course maturity to pull off this dress, and the hair is plain ridiculous. This is really BAD.
I understand that she’s trying to be edgy but this is not the right to go about it. The dress is a) way too mature and b) wearing her. The silly streaks in her hair need to go, and her shoes are ugly.

My first thought when I saw this was “How old is she again?” God, this is her time to wear fun and crazy stuff on the red-carpet and not take her self so seriously. Why is she always trying so hard to “get it right”?
She has so many years to dress like this, I don’t like it. She should be wearing Milly NY or something else fun and stylish.
Oh my! I would love to see this dress on someone who could really wear it. It looks like something she stole out of her mother’s closet. A really unfortunate choice.

Jessica Chastain might look good in this, with her red hair and hourglass figure. Chloe looks swamped – it’s just too much dress for her to carry off yet. The young actress claims not to use a stylist, which might explain some of her inconsistencies on the red carpet – but credit for making interesting choices.
This is a disaster.
I really hate this dress, the colour is horrible, the creasing technique and the shiny fabric are just too much for my liking
