Rihanna took a night off wearing her co-designed Giorgio Armani gowns at the 2012 Brits Awards, which was held at the O2 Arena in London this evening.
The surprisingly nervous singer took home the ‘Best International Female Artist’ award wearing a Givenchy Spring 2012 Couture gown.
Her sexy, shimmering crystal embellished taupe gown with a thigh-high split and plunging neckline was teamed with matching Givenchy diamante peep-toes and brown leather opera gloves which we’ve seen all over the Fall 2012 runways.
The trend setter wore Solange Azagury-Partridge studded earrings and opted to style her ombre blonde locks into a chic updo.
Do you love this look?
Or are her thigh-high splits and plunging neckline gowns all rolling into one?

It’s a beautiful dress – though probably the easiest one to wear in that Givenchy Haute Couture collection
Arrrrgh I WISH she had taken those gloves off, she would look so perfect without them…kinda looks like shes about to do the washing up!
Agreed. the look could have been much better without those gloves…
Agree. Minus the gloves, a perfect 10
Agreed. I dont care for the slit either, but the gloves just are awful. I love her hair.
+1
I think long gloves should always look elegant but in that outfit they look horrendous.
Agreed.
LOVE
I like this better than her previous 2 looks. But something is still not working for me.
I like it–love her hair, agree about the gloves. Not quite as sexy as the green and black dresses
I would have loved this, but 3 of the exact same silhouette in what, a week and a bit, and doing the same poses is just boring.
I wish she had either worn this first, sans gloves, or not worn it at all.
The leather gloves could´ve worked if she´d opted for an overall edgier styling with edgier shoe choice and more dramatic makeup. Not a fan of her so matchy shoe choice.
Just like her other 2 looks, this feels a bit on a trashy side. I was actually quite surprised her look won her BDOTW.
HOT dress. Gloves don’t bother me.
i just really hate her roots.
me too. the hair ruins it. The hair color and the updo look amateur. Horrible
Horrible.. I can’t look at this
love it on the model on rihanna its just trashy.
NO to the gloves and NO to those ugly roots!
Honestly isn’t this the same look she had at the Grammy, at Stella’s and now at the Brits????
meh….
Hate the hair so much I’m struggling to focus on anything else. Didn’t mind it in the previous two looks, but in this shot at least, it’s making her look very sallow.
Like the dress, don’t like the gloves, and tho I love her hair colour down, all I can see are dark roots with it up like this
The gloves and hair are really bad. The makeup is also not great. She makes a beautiful dress look cheap.
i love rihanna but this is terrible, far too fussy, and the gloves are horrendous.
I can deal with the gloves considering this is the Brits, but I can’t get on board with the blonde hair and awful roots.
Her recent looks are repetitive- plunging, thigh split gown. I like the dress, just not how she wears it.
Really Rihanna? A thigh high slit and plunging neckline three times in a row? And now with leather gloves? This just got old fast.
I love the dress, am annoyed by the gloves, and am oddly unmoved by the shoes despite the fact that they make perfect sense with the outfit. (Every time I see those Givenchy models with the faux mouth piercings, I just recoil. I thought styling was supposed to enhance a collection not make people desperately look anywhere else.)
I like this look – it may backless with a thigh high split and plunging neckline, but it’s different from her previous 2 outfits, plus it’s paired with more interesting accessories and a different hairstyle. I prefer this to the Armani looks.
As much as I want to rant on how she needs to get a new formula for red carpet dresses, cus 3 times in a row is getting boring, but she still stuns in this dress !! She still rock it like she owns it !!!
Not my favourite, way too much – the gloves, the split, the neckline.
Oh, too bad, so sad. This doesn’t work on her at all. The gloves are unnecessary and ugly, I would prefer a plainer shoe because the dress has so much sparkle already and overall it’s tragic.
Imagine this dress on a really effortless and sophisticated person like Angelina Jolie or Charlize Theron. So sad because now we will never see that happen.
don’t like: the dress itself and on Riri either
hate those gloves
She may be in a teeny style rut right now, but she still looks pretty damn awesome in those dressed. When she stops looking fantastic, I will start complaining.
I absolutely hate the colour and she’s just repeatting the exacts
Looks but this one is just plain trashy
The dress is beautiful. And I like that she decided to wear her hair up. It glammed up the look as opposed to the trashy 90′s sex siren feel of the last 2 Armani looks. Repetitive? Sure. But she looks amazing.
love the dress and shoes, hate the gloves.
love the way she styled her hair, but hate the color.
i am loving this phase she’s in.she WORKS it!
I’m bored by it personally but I definitely would have preferred this look without those gloves!
I love the dress but not on her. I would have liked to see it on someone who can do classy and sexy at the same time.
Don’t like the dress, don’t like that she keeps wearing this type of look, don’t like the color.
Trashy.
Beautiful dress, I just don’t like the shoes that much.
Personally, I don’t see nothing wrong with her opera
gloves. As a matter a fact, I really like them.
