Lana Del Rey In Vivienne Westwood – 2012 Brit Awards

Lana Del Rey was one of the many stars to take to the red carpet at the 2012 Brit Awards in London this evening.

She opted to wear a Vivienne Westwood red gown.

Her off-the-shoulder classic gown is a particular style we’ve seen several times before.

With that in mind I wish she opted for some interesting accessories to lift this look.

The red nail polish isn’t enough to keep me interested unfortunately.

De Beers jewels completed her look.

Her hair is pretty but it clashes with the off the shoulder detail, and yes I agree this look needs some accessories, a pretty embellished clutch at least.

I have a feeling she was going for Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (when they go to the opera). She does look like her quite a bit.

I think that she looks gorgeous, but that she could do so much better. The hair isn’t complimentary to teh silhouette of the dress, and I fele like there are so many colours she could wear with ease, red eels a tad boring.
Also, she needs better accessories, and a bit mroe personality to pull this look off.

She looks sensational. The fact that I didn’t notice the lack of bling or accessories makes me think all the more this was a well-crafter look. Or, perhaps, I’ve just drank the Lana koolaid. That’s altogether possible.

Didnt Princess Eugenie wear this last year?
I cant say that I like this on Lana. This is a curvy girls dress and it looks sloppy on Lana because she has nothing to hold it up.

It does look a little big on her…I wish she would have went a size smaller and added a dress. Her hair looks beautiful and the color is amazing on her.

She looks great, this really suits her old world Hollywood glamour look and the understated accessories let her own beauty shine through, plus the dress is vibrant enough on its own. I don’t mind the lack of clutch, in fact I think she’s more mysterious without it. And give her a break with the recycled dress, she’s new to the red carpet arena but at least she picked a British designer for this event.

Her hair is gorgeous but I think an updo would’ve been better. I like the dress but it feels like it needs to be pulled up a bit.

The only problem I had with the outfit is that she’s wearing flats with it! You can’t see in these photos, but in others you can see that she’s wearing the red suede flats she’d worn around all day.

At first glance, I really thought this was Kate Mara and I was totally confused. Not a bad look, but not at all memorable.
