Elettra Wiedemann joined Zoe Saldana in the front row of Prabal Gurung’s Fall 2012 presentation during New York Fashion Week.
She teamed her Prabal Gurung violet paint-drip lame pants with a white Monika Chiang blazer and a white shirt.
Monika Chiang grey pumps and an Yves Saint Laurent ‘Cabas’ bag completed her look.
I adore this look from the ankles up. It’s so effortless and clean with the star item being the pants.

Love, love, love these pants! It is an amazing look, but why on earth did she wear grey suede pumps and carry such a huge black bag?? The accessories let her down big time! They feel so out of place…
agree with you on the pumps but i love her handbag.
this look had me screaming. i saw a video somewhere saying that prabal made her fall in love with the color purple after hating it all her life. i’m so happy he did because she looks TOTALLY AMAZING.
LOVE <3
LOVE! I don’t mind the YSL black bag. Blocking out the grey pumps. The pants are INSANE. She looks amazing.
Wow those pants are STUNNING

I’m probably the only person, but I think these pants are really ugly…I do like the blazer though.
Love love love this look. Amazing street style jus confused as to why FC calls them pants and not trousers :S
Why the confusion?
really like this look!!
This looks pretty good. A lot of people would have just copied the runway look and paired it with that same top just because that is the way it was presented. But, she made the pants work as a statement piece and kept the rest toned down.
i love it so much it almost hurts!!!
I agree with you – love the look from the ankles up. The shoes were a tad too heavy. She so doesn’t strike me as a platform footwear girl. Everything else looked quietly stunning.
I truly love this and the gray pumps don’t really bother me so much.

I love this look!
I’m in awe.
Seeing those pants on the runway, I would never have thought they could work in real life but lo and behold, they do! However, I feel the darkness and size of the handbag weighs down the outfit. Perhaps, if she had pink or lavender accessories the look would retain it’s lightness?
Do you reckon she is standing out on the pavement on the phonbe like that to give the paparazzi a chance to photograph her FC? It looks like such a pose!
Gorgeous outfit, so totally worth a good pose session.
yes, most definitely.
I see this all the time
