HIGHS
Top 5 Shows: Prabal Gurung, Oscar de la Renta, The Blonds, Victoria Beckham and Diane von Furstenberg
Best Production: Donna Karan & The Blonds
David Beckham: Seeing David Beckham holding Harper as they walked into the venue for Victoria Beckham’s fashion show. I made the right decision to arrive super early.
Seeing David Beckham in the flesh for the second time in two months.
Anna Wintour: Seeing a guy with a silver plate handing Anna Wintour her Starbucks at Victoria Beckham.
Seeing a British socialite curtsey when greeting Anna Wintour at Prabal Gurung.
LOL Moment: A dude offered me and @seoulcialite cocaine after The Blonds show. We busted out laughing – in his face. He kept chanting “Co, co, co, co…”. We were like, “Chanel?”
A-Listers In The Front Row: Michael Kors’ is the one show you are guaranteed an A-list-packed front row, so I was shocked to see Matt Damon front row at Naeem Khan. Despite looking as bored as hell, it was a nice treat for his wife on Valentine’s Day. Let’s hope she was shopping for a dress for the Oscars.
Fashion Foie Gras for Coach Bag: Emily from Fashion Foie Gras gifted me her self-designed ‘Blogger Bag’ which I toted around Fashion Week. The bag was very popular as I got papped a few times carrying it in one day by WWD and Huffington Post. I was very excited to help support my friend and fellow blogger in this way.
Marchesa: After being devastated not to receive an invitation to Marchesa’s Spring 2012 presentation, I was seated behind the celebs for Fall 2012.
LOWS
Karlie Kloss: The absence of Karlie Kloss on the runway was very evident. No one sparkles on the runway like she does. Apparently she’s working on a new project that may see her on the big screen. The good news is that she should be back on the runway for Milan.
Missing Blake Lively: Due to scheduling, I was unable to attend the Noon by Noor presentation. I was disappointed to see my girl Blake had attended later in the day.
No More Drama: People tried to fuel drama between Brad Goreski and Rachel Zoe. There was no drama, no confrontation; they were both getting on with their lives and jobs. Why are people willing this to happen so badly?
David Beckham Photo: After my Twitter followers begged me to take a picture of Becks at VB’s show, this is the best I could do.
The Ego Has Landed: Anna Dello Russo didn’t hit New York until the Marc Jacobs show on Monday. On Tuesday she arrived really late to the Diesel show. Not content with standing at the back with all the others who arrived late, she elbowed her way to the front to try to claim her seat. However, the seat had been taken, so she was forced to crouch down near the front row.
Late Night TV Shows: I love late night telly in the US, but I was too exhausted to watch my faves, Letterman, Conan and Jay Leno. I think I only turned the TV on once to watch the Grammy’s.

Ahh these posts are so much fun. I can imagine you were giddy seeing David Beckham, he is super fine
Very giddy
Love your fashion week round-ups, always a pleasure to read. I agree with you that Karlie was sorely missed in New York but the rumour goes that she will be doing something big in London – perhaps to do with the Bubery show, which she has never walked before. Fingers crossed.
Hands down funniest part of this round-up is the socialite who curtsied upon greeting Anna Wintour. Hysterical. Hands down most unsurprising part of this round-up is Anna Dello Russo being a complete and utter self-absorbed egomaniac.
It was so funny. But meeting Anna is like meeting the Queen after all.
Oh Burberry is tomorrow, so I will look out for Karlie then. I hope it’s true.
Love your picks, especially the gold Marchesa, which surprised me as I was aware of all the negative reactions to their show. Your high/low report is a super treat to read, lets me be there in a way so thanks so much! I’m now especially pumped up for your Oscar blogging, especially since I won’t see the show in all likelihood and I know you’ll do a stellar job covering every detail…..
thank you…I will be flying home earlier from Milan just to cover the oscars

Anna Dello Russo thinks she’s the second coming of Jesus Christ doesn’t she. I hope she gets lost in the clearance department at forever21.
ROTFLMAO @ I hope she gets lost in the clearance department at forever21.

What an amazing week! It seems like a lot of fun.
You should have brought David Beckham home with you, seriously…I’m sure Victoria would have been too busy watching the show to notice.
Ha ha…I wish
Awesome, FC! It’s really great to be able to find out some of the scoops at these Fashion weeks.
By the way, will you be covering the Goya Awards?
I’m out the whole day, so I won’t be able to pick this up until late this evening
Great! I can’t wait!

And what is it with being offered cocaine in New York? Some guy offered it to me a few years ago when I was there…but it wasnt funny because I was 16 and with my dad. My father was not to happy! lol
oh my…that is frightening
I love the highs and lows! ADR seems so funny in her blog and also when bryanboy says how nice she is… I’m so disappointed! I remember what happened last time with the seating problem..
Let’s hope she stays calm in Paris, and I hope to finally meet you if I see you in a show!

Yay I can’t wait for the rest of your coverage of fashion week, Oh my god! I would die if Angelina Jolie wore that Marchesa to the Academy Awards with an updo!!!

thank you.
Yes the are all worried it will scupper their chances of being featured in Vogue Nippon.
