Michelle Williams attended a photocall for ‘My Week With Marilyn Monroe’ during the Berlinale Film Festival on Friday.
The actress opted for a cutesy look, wearing a Kenzo black-and-white wavey-striped dress with a blue-and-green tassel detail on the shoulders.
Her 60s mod look was teamed with Chanel toe-cap pumps, barely-there makeup and no jewelry.
The only pop of colour came via her red nails.
Simple and chic or tres dull?

I think simple and chic. I like that she looks genuinely happy to be there too.
Me too. I like the shoes too.
She definitely looks happy which is fantastic, but I can’t help feeling she’s worn this type of dress so many times before…
i’d lik to say it’s simple and chic, but something is missing. it’s a bit boring, unfortuntely.
I agree.
So incredibly sweet – I like it
She always looks good but I’m still waiting for her to really blow me away. Her saffron chiffon and tulle Vera Wang with that vintage Chopard necklace she wore to the Oscars still makes my jaw hit the flow after all these years.
i like the dress, but i really wish she would do something different with her hair. Even short hair can be versatile, as Even Rachel Wood showed us….
Simple and chic and she doesn’t look lifeless, here. And she looks taller.
b&w AGAIN??? if it was a one-off i think i would like it, but i feel like i’ve seen this look on her too many times: shift dress, b&w, cute… boring
Boring. But I hardly expect Michelle to pull out something jaw-dropping at a photo call when she so rarely manages to do so even for a massive premiere or awards show. Her Dior couture creation from last week, however, does give me some hope that she might do something truly awe-inspiring come next Sunday at the Oscars. Fingers crossed.
i like it but wish shoes could be different
Sweet, but she is still the least sexy woman in the world.
Boring with capital B.
At least she’s happy to be there.
I’m not a fan of horizontal stripes, but Michelle looks cute here. It’s very much her signature style, which I like!
I wouldn’t call it boring, but I wouldn’t call it flattering or attractive either.
I think the dress would look great on a spunky brunette, given the right make-up and accessories.
Not a very good choice for Michelle, IMO.
I think this is simple and chic!
Chic! I’m not always liking her choices for Red Carpet, but this is very cute!
