Freida Pinto attended the launch party for the Marni for H&M collection in LA on Friday night.
The stunning Indian actress not only wore a colour-blocked dress from the collection, she also accessorized with pieces from the new line.
A thin, black Marni for H&M belt nipped in the waist of her bright-blue-and-tan dress with a black Peter Pan collar covered in paillettes.
I love Freida’s black knee-high Marni for H&M socks which she wore with black strappy sandals.
What do you think of Freida’s socks-and-shoes combination?

So cute! That colour is adorable on her.
Not liking the socks and shoe combo at all. The only thing I like here is the dress. She should of wore a brown belt with heels/wedges.
I hate socks with shoes, I don’t know why it’s become a supposed “stylish” thing to do, but I think they’re unflattering. But I really like all the other pieces, the collar is so cute… I’m sad that once again I won’t be able to get any piece from this so called “democratic” collaborations.
Ewww the socks. She should have let the dress speak for itself.
She’s cute. Love it.
What works here is her beauty and the blue bodice. Everything else is pretty bad. The dress fits like a sack I could have sewn in 8th grade, and the shoes and socks are an absolute no-go. She is a beautiful, beautiful woman, and this getup does almost nothing to enhance her appearance.
+1 Ugh. Freida is gorgeous but this dress is a hot mess!
adorable, as always
Love the socks and shoes combo! Naughty schoolgirl – very playful. But those legs are key to pull off the look, let’s be honest.
I don’t mind the socks, but the collar is really bothering me.
I don’t like anything about this look as a whole or individually for that matter.
