Octavia Spencer attended the 2012 NAACP Image Awards, held at The Shrine Auditorium in LA last night.
She took home the ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture’ award for her role in ‘The Help’ to add to her growing collection.
The actress wore yet another gown from her go-to designer, Tadashi Shoji.
Her custom sky blue silk jersey gown featured a ruched bodice, draped sleeve plus it was accented with a jewel detail at the waistline.
I love the graduation from dark to light blue, and the fact that she’s wearing such a vibrant colour at this event as she’s tended to wear dark colours this awards season.
Silver peep-toes and aqua stone diamond encrusted tear-drop earrings completed her look.

WOW. This is my favorite look from her yet- that color is amazing and the fit is lovely.
Agree completely. She looks so beautiful.
Exquisite!
My favorite look of her so far! Hopefully she will wear another vibrant hue at the oscars tomorrow!
Yes, she looks lovely, and I love her loyalty to Tadashi Shoji.
She looks stunning. I am not a hug fan of the ruching over the stomach, but she looks beautiful.
I adore turquoise, and she wears it very well, I think that this and her lilac Globes gown were her best, so hopefully the netx look will be a colourful one.
I love her hair stylist, her hair has looked consistently great.
To me, she is easily the most consistent this awards season.
She looks beautiful. I think this is the best she’s ever looked and I really lover her hair like this.
This is just beautiful!
BDOTW contender for sure. (Please?!)
+ 1
Beautiful, the refreshing colour, the pretty loose waves, and once again fantastic way of displaying the body shape through draping-ruched detailing gathered at the waist (Tadashi deserves an award in this respect).
A gorgeous colour on a very beautiful dress. I think this is one of her best outfits so far.
This flatters her shape so much! The color is gorgeous… am unsure how she can top this at the Oscars!!
She looks great, love that blue and her hair is gorge, but another draped dress????
Amazing actress!!!She looks fabulous!!!And the dress makes her more svelte!Actually I would like to buy this dress….
WOW best she’s ever looked!
This might be the best Octavia has ever looked! This is a stunning cut and color on her.
love the color but looks like the same dress as the one she wore to the globes
This is the best she has looked so far. Love thecolor and fit of the color. Also, love her hair and make up.
This dress is pure perfection
This is her best look so far! I loved the bright colors at this event but hated many of the styles. Not so Octavia’s! She is absolutely stunning in this dress–it is figure-flattering and such a lovely shade!
Also, I like that she wore her hair down.
Homerun!
In general, I’m not a fan of the kind of ruching on a vertical centre line like this dress features across the hips, but Octavia looks outstanding. This dress makes her look the most statuesque she has ever looked.
