Malin Akerman joined Jennifer Aniston on the red carpet last night for the ‘Wanderlust’ LA premiere.
The bubbly blonde, sporting a faux bob, wore a Sonia Rykiel Fall 2011 dress.
Her maroon dress with fuchsia satin sleeves features a keyhole, a tie on the side of her neck and an open back.
Whilst I like her ‘Possession’ strappy sandals courtesy of Walter Steiger, I wish she’d opted for a pair of heels in fuchsia as her clutch was maroon.
Her look almost feels unfinished as a result of the nude heels.

I don’t mind the shoes. At least they aren’t nude or black pumps…lol. She looks good in the dress.
I don’t care about the shoes as much as I do the sleeves, which look like an afterthought, and quite awkwardly fitted.
if she remove the fuschia satin sleeves, i woul’ve loved it. She look like a granny. I didn’t complain about the sandals.
The outfit does look unfinished with those shoes but I love the dress.
I agree that the shoes could have been better – but even then I love the dress.
I love the dress on the runway, but you need someone with attitude pull this off and Malin just doesnt have it. I totally agree about the shoes.
Malin always looks interesting and beautiful and this is no exception. I agree with the point about the shoes, but she still looks great.

Yeah, those shoes are a major let down. Darker lips & shoes and it would have been a 10/10.
Maybe it’s my computer, but the runway version looks like it’s a deep lipstick red and a dark fuschia, and the shoes are terrific. Malin’s on the other hand looks like a cheap knock-off and her shoes certainly don’t help.
Although, I love this dress, it looks better on the runway…
I prefer the color of the sleeves on the runway version. I agree fuschia shoes would have lifted this dress. It’s interesting though.
